Come together, right now ...
Okay, full range plot for all of the Inquisition? Full range plot of all of the Inquisition.
- Katniss Everdeen has spent the last few months trying to raise awareness of the plight of the refugees, namely, living in a giant tent city in the river valley below Skyhold. She's also been trying to raise funds to give her fellow soldiers (and scouts) proper barracks.
- Unbeknownst to her, until it was brought to her attention by Cassandra at the soiree, the Mage Council has also asked and given permission to clear some of the river valley below to help build structures for the soldiers.
- Katniss and the Mage Council have agreed to work together, since Katniss has been getting the support and the funds, while the Mage Council has the raw power and the influence, (see Vivienne's party), to make this happen.
- Katniss is also calling on two of the biggest supporters of the refugees, Mia Rutherford and Ariadne Everdeen, to help her organize getting the materials for building, and the actual builders themselves.
- So what is the rest of Skyhold going to be asked for? Lending their time, and their hammerin' arms, to help build huts and barracks in the river valley itself. An announcement will go up in the next two weeks or so, looking for any and all volunteers (Katniss is not going to turn away help from anyone, not even Anders) to bring assistance to those truly in need.
- The results of this will be that soldiers will have barracks, the refugees will have huts to stay in while they look for another place to move to start back up their normal lives. A few might stay, start one or two small shops, but the huts are meant to be transitory. The risk of plague and infection will also go down, so hurrah for health!
I'll be getting the ball rolling for this tonight with a message Katniss is going to be sending to the Mage Council, Mia, Ariande, letting them know the funds have arrived. She'll ask who wants to keep the advisors in the loop, who wants to lead the magical side of building, and of course pretty much begging Mia to do all the organizing because that woman is a master of organizing.
