The Inquisition recently has been getting reports that the people in Fromage, a remote little village in Emprise du Lion, are under a string of mysterious kidnappings and disappearances with no trace of them whatsoever. Wanting to get to the bottom of it, the Inquisition has sent a group over to investigate these strange kidnappings/disappearances.

Upon investigation the group will find that the people who have disappeared were all using a particular route during the night. The group will survey this route and then find themselves attacked by bandits that are Too Well Armed in this region of the Emprise. After defeating them the group will them follow the trail that they came from and discover a hidden cave thing where the kidnapped/disappeared were brought to and its guarded by a bunch of RED TEMPLARS (dun dun duuuuun).

The group battles through the red templars and gets inside the cave - only to discover that the kidnapped were, in fact, brought here for the purposes of being experimented on. Experiments involving abominations and the like, to be more specific, and there will be records and such that detail some of the experiments that transpired. Unfortunately, anybody who's brought here is also already dead in terrible and gruesome ways - save for a child who has already been turned into an abomination himself (think Grandin in Jaws of Hakkon). The party there will get to decide what to do with him, get the records of the experiments and then head back to Skyhold to report on what happened.

THINGS TO KNOW:

As mentioned this plot will run from the 1st to the 8th of Sepetmber, but since September is metaplot month should it clash with mod events I will push this plot back. That said, it won't start any later than October.

REGARDING THE ABOMINATION CHILD: What happens to him is entirely up to the party involved, but should they decide to bring the child back to Skyhold, they will need to inform the advisors ICly and also involve them at this point.

Mostly for reference: unless there's less than 8 characters signing up Bruce won't be personally involved at this point/in this mission. But if there's space after signups close I'll throw him into the mix.

Have fun, have your characters be horrified, and I'll edit this should anything come up.

Sign ups open from 3rd August to 19th August; I will RNG the team if more than 8 people sign up. The chosen team will be announced on 20th August and a plotting post will come up for people to discuss what to do!
