Player Plot, signup post: Not-quite-damsels, definite distress
WHO: Alistair, Anders, rescuers Nate, Teren, and Zevran, and OPEN
HOW MANY: 5 open slots, to make 8 rescuers total
WHERE: A small, fifth-blight-smashed village
WHEN: Haring 10th
SUMMARY: Mage extremism is not solving the problem, nor is it even helping. To this end, Anders has been speaking and writing with the Resolutionists and urging them to moderation, with his communication with them being monitored at his request. Some of the Resolutionists fear that he's either not actually Anders, or that he's being held hostage and being made to say things against his will, so they set up a trap: under the guise of being a village dealing with a small nest of Darkspawn they send a request for a couple of Wardens, including a note about needing a healer. It works. Alistair and Anders set out and walk into an ambush.
When they don't return as planned, a rescue mission sets out!
To sign up, just fill out the form by midnight EST on the 8th. If there's more than five sign-ups, we'll RNG the results!
Any questions? Pop them in here.

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Rift Mage with an ice affinity, some minor healing and hexes galore. Also a trained mabari.
How your character feels about mages: Generally supportive, as it's naturally in her best interests, being a mage herself. (But blood magic is a huge taboo for her and she will not be supportive of it.) She was an Aequitarian when in the Circle, though is no longer part of any fraternity now that she's with the Grey Wardens.
Are you good with your character being injured?: Moderately. She can be put through the ringer, but I'd prefer nothing permanent without discussion first.
What's better, cats or dogs?: Dogs. YOU EITHER LOVE MABARI OR YOU'RE WRONG.

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Dalish Pariah/bloodish/not-a-healer mage
How your character feels about mages: YAY
Are you good with your character being injured?: heck yes
What's better, cats or dogs?: Merrill thinks BOTH.

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Rifter, his shard can now go pew-pew, hand to hand combat, staff
How your character feels about mages: he's cool with them (and dating one, but shhhhh totally not what they're actually doing)
Are you good with your character being injured?: yes
What's better, cats or dogs?: Both are fine when you aren't tricked into becoming an owner of either

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Basically an offensive elemental mage. Rifter, has zero healing skills but she knows how to defend herself.
How your character feels about mages: She's a mage herself and 0she's generally supportive, mostly because she can't stand any kind of discrimination.
Are you good with your character being injured?: No problem for me, if something is supposed to have permant repercussions I'd like to talk about it first.
What's better, cats or dogs?: Cats. Indipentend, fierce, they only listen to the voice of a can of food, they're perfect.

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Rifter mage with Opinions, has cool concealment powers, can heal in a pinch, likes wielding large bladed staff weapons.
How your character feels about mages: Galadriel is pro-mage despite being just this side of don't-care/neutral about the local Mage/Templar conflict, at least, until it affects her. Anders, however, is one of her major go-to guys and she doesn't like leaving people she can turn to for information in a bind.
Alistair she would happily leave, to be honest. But Zevran likes him or something, right? Are you good with your character being injured?: Sure why not. Major injuries would require some notification so I can plot around them or figure out if they're too much, but otherwise I am golden.
What's better, cats or dogs?: Halla, Nugs, Cats, and Dogs in that order.
Questions? Comments?

Skillset/specialty/abilities: Warrior Spirit who can do things like create an illusion army and go invisible. Also can create a force to slam into people like a pair of bulls charging. Very skilled in battle and very strong. Also happens to have a very big horse.
How your character feels about mages: Many of his current close friends are mages. He thinks they're great. He's even helping Anders with stuff on the down low.
Are you good with your character being injured?: Sure. But Iskandar can keep fighting even when EXTREMELY injured. And still laugh and smile too. Important notes.
What's better, cats or dogs?: Iskandar has no idea why you'd pick one or the other okay. They're both great.
