negotiating with the qun

Hey folks!

During THE SEAS SHALL RISE & DEVOUR mod plot, Cyril is going to end up in a position to negotiate with the Qunari. Details as provided by the mods are here but the basics of it are that the Qunari on the island are offering to provide cover for the Inquisition to allow them to escape provided the Inquisition give them all of the information they gathered on the going-ons on the island.

Cyril himself is a fan of finding a middle ground. He understands why they need to tote the line of not providing the impression things are falling apart in the south, especially considering that he's heard a lot about the Qun from Taas that makes them terrifying, but he will want input about how much and which info they hand over.

I'd love to throw Skadi at this! She's ranged over as much of the island as she possibly could, and has never met actual Qunari but is pretty curious about them. If it helps, she's part of the Other Powers project.

That does help because Cyril would have to work pretty closely with the Other Powers project - which reminds me I gotta message Kit's mun! I will include you in the post when I make it? What would be Skadi's take on all of this?

Sure, go for it! And her general take would be one of honesty, since she sure as hell doesn't want to be stuck on the island forever, so let the Qunari have it. But if given a good reason to go against that, she's open to persuasion.

Cyril wants to lean that way too, but understands why giving them too much info is a bad idea. One of his loves is a Tal Vashoth who is no longer in the game but who told him things to make him wary of The Qun.

Kit-mun and I are in agreement that Cyril is going to make a crystal communication for the Other Powers team, that way they can get the opinions of people who have more direct experience with The Qun (like Fenris). We could say that Skadi becomes involved based around that communication too and offers to work closely with Cyril to write up an official agreement?

Your friendly neighborhood Qun expert here! Yeah, so since he's been able to negotiate with certain Qun before, Fenris would definitely be up for helping with this... whether translating, giving input on the negotiations, etc... basically anything that's needed.

Oh good you saw this! I actually friended you on plurk so I could pm you about this plot because when I talked to Kit-mun about it, they directed me to you! :P

So, Cyril is going to make a crystal post this weekend basically asking the Other Powers team for help, and Fenris can get involved there?
