→ THE SERPENT OF NEVARRA

Inquisition agents have uncovered a potential problem in the nation of Nevarra: a Tevinter mage by the name of Virellius has recently been noted in the company of King Markus, and rumors comment on how strange it is for a new advisor to be so closely heeded. There is evidence to indicate Virellius is a member of the Venatori. Having the Nevarran king under their sway would give the cult a great deal of power and hinder the Inquisition's ability to operate in the north. → Send an agent to eliminate the advisor, as well as his supporters, by any means necessary.

A couple of weeks ago, the mods gave me permission to rework this war table operation as a player plot! So, rather than "Inquisition agents in Nevarra", Lady Ayse Thevenet (Mortalitasi, major player in Nevarran politics, and Benny's mom) will be contacting her daughter to share suspicions that the King's advisor is more than he appears to be and insist that she get the fuck back to Nevarra, preferably with her new friends in tow to deal with it. As she will be acting as an agent of the Inquisition and not exclusively as Ayse Thevenet's creature, Benevenuta will be joined by Dorian Pavus and THREE OTHERS for a holiday jaunt to commit political assassination and do some light recon in Nevarra. Virellius is a Venatori mage embedded in Nevarra's court - he is unlikely to be an easy mark.

I will probably be looking to do this in January, depending on what else we're all doing plot-wise and how it'll best work to schedule it. Please let me know if you're interested! Bear in mind that participating characters should have relevant skills and experience for the task, but do not necessarily have to have met or worked with Benevenuta in the past. They will however be working with the Thevenets closely, staying with them, and appearing as Benevenuta's ~entourage~ or ~companions~ to gain access. Once we know who's going, we can get to work on more details and logistics.
