Who They Are: A once heir of an Antivan merchant family, now Seeker, here to snoop on everyone's life and be sassy ig. Being a rogue more specced towards stealth, he does a lot more on the investigation, sneaking side of things. Generally wants to know everyone's business, especially if they're important people whose business could have an effect on other peoples' lives.
Where They've Been: Doing Seeker stuff, been in and out of Inquisition bases as needed, but not officially joined up with anything yet. Probably following Cassandra around Skyhold a bunch doing whatever she tells him to, or going information gathering.
What They Want: To know all the secrets :B also, to help the Inquisition make sure their world doesn't fall to ruin, plus make sure no one's taking advantage of the world falling to ruin to be a dick bag to the people.
Plot & CR Desires: No specific plots as of yet, but if anyone wants to plot for having known him in the past through Antiva, nobility, Templar or Seeker stuff, I'd be all kinds of down for braining that up. Just trying to get the character flushed out some more right now.

i think we could potentially swing some prior cr with pretty much any of my characters bar The Rifter One, but in general i like this dude and im keen to get CURRENT cr, for sure. off the top of my head: galatea's chantry-adjacent so potentially he could have crossed her path when she was torturing people for andraste, gervais was a circle mage and he actually traveled for his research work (under templar guard, obvs), etc.

isaac & casimir are circle mages, neither really......traveled.....but we could probably finagle something esp if luca did anything during the war. there's probs a feasible way to say wren knows him as well idk. let's do some past cr on someone.

HMMMM I think we could get some nice stuff out of these. For Gala, maybe he could have been doing some investigation into that chantry and reports of the mothers going bonkers with torturing peeps? maybe a too little too late thing, and by the time the seekers had actually gotten around to look into it, gala was already handling it herself, so it was just the trail from her left? Like a peripheral awareness of who she is? but idk how much you want known about gala, sob

as for captain flint i mean gervais, if he was under templar guard, there's a good chance luca could've been one of those guarding him. or if its a research specific thing, luca does a lot of information gathering, so maybe he could've gone with the guard as a seeker for the sake of getting some snooping in? idk idk

hmhmhm, i hadn't really solidly decided which circles Luca's been through, kind of left it open for the sake of plotting stuff with peeps, so we could always say he was somewhere close to either of them for the sake of familiarity. in the war, he went the cassandra route and nope'd right out of the chantry split with the templars, so if he was involved, it'd probably have been more in trying to keep the peace in places, or guarding/assisting the Divine.

Oooh, Wren is a Templar that was with the Orlesian circle, right? If you want them to have a little more connection, maybe he could've trained in the Orlesian chantry and been in and out of stations at White Spire a bit? Enough to have known her relatively well as idk some senior templar to toddle around after 8T IDK gimme ur thoughts

Oh no, Julian sounds really sweet!! ;; they're only a few years apart, so it's likely they could've grown up together? luca was a serious, sullen babby that probably could've used a cheerful friend. that and he hated nobles who acted like nobles, so they have that in common. also wanted adventure and things, got into a lot of trouble as a reckless kiddo, so we could maybe say they were rich delinquents together? :'D

with gala's situation there wouldn't have actually been anything about the mothers - they weren't going off the rails so there wouldn't have been any reports like that, they just made a couple of poorly timed bad decisions about what to do in the midst of the war, the work galatea did for them was chantry-sanctioned and no one knows those mage children existed, so what it actually looks like happened is "galatea lost her shit for no discernible reason". crossing paths would be more like galatea's work supporting his investigative work, probably, or potentially he could have looked into the terrible murders of those poor innocent chantry mothers.

and yeah!! gervais traveled for healing work and research purposes, and obvs mages go no where by themselves. if he was going somewhere convenient to luca, two birds w one stone.

also gervais was at the white spire w wren and is now her kept man so that could raise an eyebrow.

I love it! Yessss, let Julian be the one to put a smile on his face. We could say they played pretend where they fought dragons and such! And got into all kinds of mischief. <3

Pietro is also Antivan but he's 5 years younger and an elf so chances of them crossing paths there seem slim, HOWEVER: he was circled in Ghislain, and used to use Antivan to talk shit with his sister, WHICH WORKS LESS WELL when the Templar you are shit-talking also happens to speak Antivan... :>???

They could've had more positive conversations too if Luca was down for chatting with his charges, Pietro was pretty generally restless and desperate for news of the outside world. Even from Templars.

and yeah wren was at the white spire, i'd be super down for that! she only ever made lieutenant but that's honestly probably more reason to be dealing with baby templars/seekers than anyone higher up the food chain. she was mostly involved in fieldwork, so it'd be a good fit too for the kind of stuff he ended up doing to say they went on some adventure as part of his training or she spent a while babysitting or something.

2, possible connections because I like the looks of this guy; before he came to the Inquisition, Nikos was living resentfully in Antiva helping to run a SPY RING in OPPOSITION of MONARCHIES and OPPRESSIVE WEALTH and TOP DOWN POWER SYSTEMS and stuff like that. you know, rogue stuff. stole important papers sometimes, maybe a little assassinating. like once he tried to assassinate a king and then hid in Antiva. it's fine. they're based in Antiva City but they go anywhere there's oppression or at least will send pamphlets anywhere there's oppression. also his mother is an Antivan merchant princess so he unfortunately has connections and knows names and things even though he hates it all. so maybe there's some connections to be made there or at least some name recognition?? whatever I am flexi

Re: Ghislain, yes!! I was thinking I could say he'd spent a bit of time stationed there in order to collect some CR with Pietro, so that would work out awesome to add Isaac in as well. What was he up to most there?

i love the idea of him attaching to her at white spire for fieldwork training and babysitting and stuff. she seems like a person he'd have a lot of respect for in general, for her disposition and dedication while also not being a crazy person. so i think that'd be a super cool fit. also, eyebrow waggling at gervais and her, im jussayin : D unfortunately still makes rude faces

2, Luca was actually a wily delinquent child when he was younger and snooped around the Crows, at least (and almost got killed a lot, probably), so I could see him snooping around Nikos spy stuff as well :3 While he isn't so DEATH TO THE KING as him, he's also not a big fan of the offensively wealthy (aka his entire family sob). I could see him lending a hand if it was redistribution of wealth stuff, tho not so much assassinating. BUT EITHER WAY he was a child of the merchant nobility circle, so they definitely could've had run ins one way or another!! or at least know each others names and lives. This seems fun aahhh come at me

ahh, yeah even if he'd only met isaac during his templar days, he'd probably have at least learned what fuckery he was involved in by the time he got to seeker status and started knowing everyone's business all the time. tho tbh, even if he was only a templar at the time, there's a good chance luca would go out of his way to learn stuff about his charges, esp ones transferred in without immediately available reasons, because he's that extra credit motherfucker that wants to know about who his charges are and what he might want to look out for. tbh its up to you know much he should know :B

Nikos wasn't doing the full time spy stuff in Antiva until about 11 years ago so depending on the timing they could totally have had some kind of run in! Nikos' counterpart is Caspar Parakis, who is way more charismatic and invites people to come to meetings and listen to their rhetoric, very into the redistribution of wealth, buys drinks and listens sympathetically to dissident rebellious noble kids who want to stick it to the man a little. soooo if Luca would have been around to be invited, that could springboard us toward some CR. if he would have had genuine interest, he could have attended some meetings, and/or maybe did some snooping under the guise of being interested in the cause but really there for some secrets???

also Nikos was totally flipping through peerage books and sideline asking his mom for gossip and making a burn book of Antivan nobles and their offspring so yes if nothing else he would know some backstory for Luca, if you're cool with that!

heeee basically found noble patronage, got dragged into some inter-house politics, and then caught the blame so that the others could smooth things over. and then reacted really poorly to that, so probably would've been on closer watch for a bit during his first year or so to make sure he didn't try anything stupid. hence the sucking up & telling on people. :V

outside of healing magic he's p good with entropy spells, particularly those that affect the mind.

whoops that notif got lost somewhere. pre-fade rift he would've been involved in some mmm fairly traumatic things and then fucked off on his own doing loner missions because what's Dealing With Things, sounds fake. but as far as the game's timeline is concerned, once everyone showed up at skyhold then yeah he would've been way more open to helping out the baby seeker because seekers gotta stick together fighting the good fight!!!
