Player Plot Sign Up: the Flying Countdown

What’s Happening?
Dragons are especially significant in Qunari culture; although they are not revered in a religious sense, exactly, they represent extraordinary strength. Their death is necessary in order to establish society. High dragons are referred to as "Ataashi," or "glorious ones" in Qunlat.

The Inquisition is known for having successfully felled a number of high dragons over the past few years. The Arishok would like to see them kill a high dragon on an island in the Boeric Ocean that has the potential to be a lucrative source for metal ore and some elements necessary for the production of gaatlok, and peaceful meeting place for the Inquisition and Qunari to develop a rapport, discuss terms of alliance (or at least not outright hostility) and perhaps even an opportunity for an eventual Inquisition outpost.

... They just have to prove they really can kill a high dragon, first.

Mission Goals?
Kill a dragon, look good doing it, be charming if possible.

Beyond that there’s nothing massive from this mission specifically, but the vision for it is that this will be the first step in a series of missions to potentially allow the Inquisition access to gaatlok. Forging a productive relationship with the Qunari would potentially help guard the northern coasts and allow for more manpower in the north for Tevinter things.

(Signing up for this mission won’t mean you have to participate in the others for this arc, and missing out on this won’t block you from participating in others.)

Who?
This mission is open for sign ups from anyone, but preference will be given to Diplomacy division and Other Powers project members. Skills from any division would be super appreciated, and the team will be 5 or 6 people total.

Given that this is the Qunari, mage presence should probably be limited or magic handled with a great deal of caution. Not sure of their view on rifters, so I’ll be asking the mods about that.

When?
Set in August, the log will probably be posted early in that month. Sign ups will close in a week or so.
