IC & PLOT UPDATES

War Updates

As you may have seen, news of a spring offensive campaign by the allied forces of Orlais, the Inquisition, and the Exalted March was announced, as were related news items regarding elves, mages, internal unrest in Orlais, Nevarran intervention, and naval activity. The world status map has been updated accordingly.

Additional info may still be available through the post itself, but anyone wishing to dig even more deeply into any of these issues or run a related plot is welcome to do so using the usual Info & Plot Request mechanisms. Anyone interested in having their character be a bringer of news in a future post should sign up.

Upcoming Mod Plot

This cycle's mod plot will still be centered around the eluvian network, which both the Inquisition/Riftwatch and the Venatori have made limited use of in the past. It will involve as many members of Riftwatch as are interested venturing into the Crossroads in a race against time before ending up somewhere remote for a while. We don't want to say too much now and spoil it, but you should anticipate your character possibly being out of the Gallows and unavailable for other business for a couple weeks at roughly the end of the month.

We'll provide more information and sign-ups for things that require signing up later this month!

We'll also, as promised, be doing a lower-key event prior to the mod plot. The two are related—we're just going to ease in with some more flexible, CR-focused happenings over time that can be easily scaled from silly to serious to suit your preferences, before getting a bit more intense at the end of the month. More info about this coming soon.

War Table Assignments

War Table Reports are due to be posted to the rookery comm! If you need an extension or if you have decided not to do your assignment, please let us know ASAP. We're happy to allow extensions for threads that are still being actively tagged, just touch base with us via the Mod Contact to let us know how long you think you need before you reach a point where the group's ready to write a report. (Back-tagging can of course continue after reports are posted, but we don't want to rush people to handwave outcomes if it can be avoided.)
