They can find some letters in which a soldier named Triplum is thanked for his good work in capturing several prisoners and arranging for their safe and speedy transport back to Tevinter, where he is informed they arrived at "the island" intact. He is requested to continue his company's close but discreet observation of several communities (which Riftwatch will note are all in close proximity to rifts they've recently closed) and to send along any additional "subjects," and is promised he will again be rewarded for doing so. But he is warned not to "become greedy and allow his men to attempt to create subjects" themselves in hopes of greater rewards, because that has proven "dangerous and ineffective." The letter is signed "Volaris" and the seal is stamped with the Venatori symbol.
