[OOC]
Lately some players are having trouble keeping up with Fade Rift's pacing and the rate at which new plotlines unfold, and this was causing some tension, so I opened up a discussion on plurk to figure out how we can make each other's lives a little easier.
We came up with a few ways we as players can look out for each other and still have all the crazy horrible fun this game can offer.
What it basically came down to is:
1) OOC decisions/IC plots that will affect everyone should be suggested on the OOC comm (instead of just talked about on plurk) before any posts are made so that
2) advisor players are kept in the know and able to decide how they would handle it.
3) Hugely influential posts should, on their conclusion, be given a cooling time so that
4) people in other time zones and schedules can react to them accordingly
which means 5) we should be careful about posting IC reactions to things that we just found out about that day.
6) Last but not least, communicate always, and try to give the benefit of the doubt before taking something personally.
These obviously aren't rules, because I'm not a mod or your dad. Just, y'know. be cool
If you have any additional comments, questions, or want to yell at me, feel free to use this as an open forum!
Love,
Cami
