player plot: Out flew the web and floated wide-
WHO: Morrigan; open
HOW MANY: Six + Morrigan herself
WHERE: Serault!
WHEN: November, willing to slot this in around modplots since it'd be such a small group
NOTES:
Please let me know when works best when you're signing up. I'll be using RNG for the sign-ups but it does help me figure out when to slot things in as early as possible on the calender.
The sign-ups are open but that being said, she will have a preference for people who are not going to cause a scene/would know how to behave in public/people with a decent reputation for discretion
THE BRIEF:
That's the barest of bones, if you want to sign up? Keep reading under the cut.
The team Morrigan gathers must include at least one rogue with good stealth plus lockpicking abilities, they'll be needed when the plotting post actually goes up. The party will head to Serault where the vibe is definitely strained. You know the whole 'it's fine, it's fine, it's totally fine, what do you mean it's not fine' vibe. There are two optional paths we can take for this but I'll put this up when the team is chosen. The team will be facing 5-10 Venatori and 2-4 Red Templars, I'll decide based on the party assembled what they're up against in exact numbers closer to the time. The Venatori Agents will also be revealed closer to the plotting too so I don't give too much away but anyone who knows Court gossip might recognise one, there's a chance to identify another, and the team can bring back notes to the Inquisition.
This mission does have two different paths to take, but I'll reveal those when the team has been chosen so it can be discussed amongst everyone. One of the paths will lead to the mission being completed but think of it as the optional objectives/bonuses not being completed. It's not a fail state, you don't miss out on the Venatori Agent things but it has a different outcome that I don't want to give away yet.
As for rewards: Serault glass and some glassworkers will join the Inquisition, it's quality stuff okay, don't turn your nose up at Serault glass.
eta And the teams have been chosen, I'll have a proper plotting post up very soon but congratulations team I feel this is all going to go so well:

THE BRIEF:
As they are unable to get their hands on an eluvian due to Morrigan and Merrill taking action to safeguard their own, the Venatori are forced to take the same approach Celene had: to have an eluvian repaired. They've come across one in need of repair plundering an elven ruin beyond the reach of the Inquisition, and a Venatori agents in Orlais has provided some handy information on Morrigan. And that she was in Serault working, known for their glasswork.
Alas, those glassworkers aren't Morrigan so long story short we're going to go to Serault kids.
Since the glassworkers can't repair the eluvian, they suggest inviting Morrigan to Serault, thanks for the patronage that one time etc etc. Morrigan isn't a moron though and upon receipt of this letter gathers her party to set off.

sign-ups
questions
I can promise that it isn't failing the mission, so you don't need to worry about that.
no subject
Character: Ellana Ashara
Class/Specialisation Mage/Shapeshifter
Anything else: I have no preferences with scheduling in November. Whenever is best for everybody else.
or
Character: Christine Delacroix
Class/Specialisation Mage/Spirit Healer and depending on date of approval, a brand new Knight-Enchanter
Anything else: The only thing that comes to mind is she refuses to work with Anders on anything and avoids him at all costs. So if he signs up, throw Ellana into the RNG instead. ;)

Character: Inessa Serra
Class/Specialisation Mage/Rift Mage, Grey Warden
Anything else: Garahel's coming with, of course.
no subject
Character: Ciri
Class/Specialisation Warrior/Tempest, Grey Warden
Anything else: Not a rogue but used to spend a lot of time breaking into places she was not welcomed in so has some knowledge on picking more basic/household locks. Also: I have no preference for when this takes place!
no subject
Character: Kain
Class/Specialisation Warrior/Reaver, Grey Warden
Anything else: He's always up for a fight! And for fun times going back to his home country.
no subject
Character: Bruce 'Fireflake' Banner
Class/Specialization Mage/Pyromancer
Anything else: srrault serault serault
no subject
Character: Velanna
Class/Specialisation Mage/Dalish/Burninating the countryside/Grey Warden
Anything else: velanna's gonna get her claws into one of these eluvian plots ONE OF THESE DAYS
iiif this is still open
Character: thranduil
Class/Specialisation warrior/elfy bullshit.
Anything else: hopefully this isn't too late, i apologize.
no subject
Character: Sabine
Class/Specialisation Rogue, necessary sneaky skills attached. Mixed arrow and knife capabilities.
Anything else: I'm keen to do this but at some stage in November, maybe, I will have a house move. But I will try to tag every day even if they clash horribly.
no subject
Character: Jehan Mercier
Class/Specialisation Noncombatant/passive-aggressive smiley face
Anything else: If Morrigan is expecting everyone to have to fight then it probably doesn't make sense to take him and that's totes cool. But he's an Orlesian noble-turned-Chantry-scholar who is very good at playing along with "it's fine, it's fine, it's totally fine" vibes and the Game's doublespeak so if there'd be hope for a diplomatic solution when heading out, it might not be reckless endangerment to take him. Maybe.

Character: Zevran
Class/Specialisation Rogue/Assassin
Anything else: sneaky stabby lockpick skillz at your service. (He can lockpick now I promise he really can.)
no subject
Character: Kirk
Class/Specialisation Rifter / Hand-to-Hand Combat / Survival Skills
Anything else: No preference for scheduling in November other than not around the week of Thanksgiving (though I can make it work, just might be slower around then due to family/holiday/work)
