player plot: the turn of the screw (info and plotting)
WHO: Teren, Alistair, Anders, Benevenuta, Bethany, Kaisa (if you're on the list and don't want to be, yell at me)
HOW MANY: I considered adding more, but I think if I did it would be unfair to the B group so I'm going to keep it at the A group.
OPEN/CLOSED: Closed
WHERE: Northern Orlais, right below the border of Nevarra
WHEN: Next month (January IRL)
SUMMARY: Near the start of the year, Teren receives a piece of correspondence that goes otherwise unnoticed by the other Wardens. After several days, she alerts the others that the Architect has been spotted in northern Orlais, and she would like to bring a small team to investigate and apprehend him.
Something about the situation has her visibly rattled, and although she doesn't personally handpick her escort, it's clear that those who accompany her are people with whom she shares a certain level of trust.
(Benny isn't involved in the initial draft, but we can figure out how she gets involved!)
There's quite a bit more to the plot, but I am intentionally keeping it vague because the secrets are what will make it interesting. Needless to say, there is more to this than finding the Architect. [Note/spoiler: They won't actually find him, so he'll be very much available for future plot developments.]
I do plan to utilize a system of Intuition Rolls, wherein on each round, each player can choose to roll 1d3 to gain a little more insight on the situation. This might be a sudden moment of clarity or just an observation of something they hadn't noticed before, it all depends on the roll. :V Benny is exempt from this because reasons.
I'm adding a thread for questions and also plotting with regards to how your character gets involved, if you don't want to just assume they fell in naturally!
Players of characters who aren't involved should also feel free to chat with me about how their dudes might feel about it and/or react.
