OOC: Elven Artifacts Discussion and Plotting

This is a post for working out project deets both present and future.



The initial project focus is aimed at Corypheus. The department has scrying tools, but nothing from Corypheus to scry with. There are artifacts, including probably more of the Lights of Arlathan, held by Kal-sharok, which is using the artifacts as leverage in a potential alliance deal. There's also the fact that, in the dark future, a small group was sent to the Arbor Wilds, tracking Corypheus, and never returned. Corypheus is also ransacking elven ruins. He wants something.

So the general vague places this can go:
- A careful and discreet scouting mission to the Arbor Wilds to see why Corypheus is there and what he is looking for.
- A volunteer to work with Tyrion Lannister in securing the elven artifacts held by Kal-sharok.
- Locating eluvians.
- Investigating ruins abandoned by Corypheus to find any commonalities.
- Coming up with an item that can be used to scry for Corypheus' location.

Each of these plot threads has room for more than one person, so don't worry about doubling up. Pel is also stepping back into a command center role, so anyone can take over her work on Veilfire runes.

I'm not going to OOCly assign anything except at your request. ICly, we can hash out how it goes down--whether it's your character's idea or Pel giving an assignment. There will be assignment requests below, with space to request a specific project/assignment listed above or if you're just not sure what you want to do. If you know what you want your character to do and it's not on the above lists, that's fine. And if you want to handwave your character being active on the vital points of the project while only logging out your own project, that is also fine. Unless you specifically tell me otherwise, it will be assumed your character is doing well with their duties.

She will make him Morrigan's assistant, she will emphasize that last word. He is to help her however he can. Pel kind of likes filing and paperwork anyway.

If Morrigan has her sights set on the Temple of Mythal and Pel wants the area to be peeked at, is there anything we can do ICly to make that happen for you the way you'd like?

ETA: Around what timing would you like, if there was an Arbor Wilds mission? Because I have ideas on how to make it happen and be fully justified, and tie in with Morrigan's work. It would still be your plot 100%.
