Player Plot: The Song Red Lyrium Sings

WHO: Christine Delacroix + others
HOW MANY: 3-7 + accompanying NPCs
OPEN/CLOSED: Open with preference given to the red lyrium research team.
WHERE: northern Ferelden
WHEN: late August (post will go up on the 27th)

SUMMARY: Christine has set up a camp made up of researchers and supplemented with some soldiers from Skyhold (the soldiers were offered IC by Cullen) to study red lyrium in the ground. They have rotating shifts, and only plan to study it until the end of August when they'll destroy most of it and take a few samples back to Kirkwall. Initially, they had to defeat the Red Templars guarding it, but there's been no trouble since then. Now, however, there have been sightings of Red Templar scouts, and so reinforcements are called in from Kirkwall. When they arrive, they'll find the Red Templars are based not far away, ready to attack and take back their sowing ground for red lyrium. The goal is to defeat the Red Templars, secure the site once more, get ready to dismantle it, and raid the Templars' camp, to find some letters to home (you know, like this), journal entries, etc. that the group can decide what to do with.

SIGN-UPS: If your character is a researcher, or just someone the Inquisition would send as reinforcements, you can sign up! If it's the former, your character doesn't have to be stationed at this camp prior to the plot either.

DETAILS:
— The plot will have 3 top levels. The first will be a short thread where our characters arrive at the camp and get info from the NPCs on the Red Templars' numbers, movements, etc. Basically the preparation phase.

— The second thread is the big battle. I'm going to run it like the previous Red Templar fight I did, where I rolled a d20 to see your character's success or failure at fighting as well as the injuries they sustain. On the sign-up form below, you can fill out how severe you'll allow the injuries to be, so if you choose "none," I'll skip on rolling injuries for your character. If you chose other severities, I'll match the injury to it should you fail your roll. I'll be having my NPCs in the fight too, to fill out the numbers (and because damn it, I created them so I may as well use them).

— The final thread will be going through the Red Templars' camp to look for valuable information. There they will find personal effects and can decide what to do with them, such as trying to track down the Templars' families, donating religious items to the Chantry, throwing it all off a cliff, whatever. It will be noted that items can be cleansed with the special cleansing runes so they're safe to send out if they choose that option. There is an option in the sign-up where you can let me know what your character would do, just in case the thread stalls out so I know how that part of the plot wraps up.
