Who They Are: Janzik is a goblin from the planet of Azeroth who has been dwarfified in his journey through the rift. In his homeland, he was a shaman (a bit like an elementalist mage) and alchemist of some modest renown. Here, he will be smoking a lot of elfroot and complaining bitterly every time someone asks him how a dwarf can possibly be casting spells.
Where They've Been: A lot of worlds nobody will have heard of, and then the inside of a rift, and now here.
What They Want: To find a way to communicate with the elements of Thedas the way he could with the sentient ones back home, to find himself a niche or a trade so he can earn some coin beyond this downright insulting Inquisition salary, and to figure out what the deal is with this shard in his hand.
Plot & CR Desires: Janzik is outwardly a friendly and easygoing guy, if a little too boisterous for polite company, and so I'd like to just see who all he can bond with from the start. His response to finding himself in an unfamiliar place will be to try and make friends for safety.
He's not bad at keeping his distrust of humans to himself and being civil, but I'd like to play around a little with that, and have him meet other dwarves so that he can unintentionally insult them all with his wailing about how he isn't supposed to look like this.
Anything Else: He has the most aggressive New Jersey accent anyone in Thedas will ever have heard.
