Player Plot: Crossing the Crossroads
A small village has noticed an armed force skirting around in the forest nearby, not wearing any colors associated with the
local lords. Feeling nervous after what happened at Perendale, they've sent a request to the Inquisition to look into who this
group belongs to, and why they're skulking about the forest.
Beleth will take a group of Inquisition agents to inspect the forest, and discover an elven ruin that has been converted into a
small camp, along with an eluvian next to it. After discovering this, they'll be attacked by the armed force they were looking for,
and discover a conspiracy against Briala, involving her agents' use of the eluvian network. They'll have to warn her, but the only
way to get to her in enough time will be the same method her agents use--through the eluvian itself.
This plot will involve city elf politics, a field trip through the crossroads, and maybe a moral dilemma or two for good measure.
Sign ups will close January 31st, 2018, and the plot will start a few days after that!

Skills: Magic, bit of melee combat, she has a dragon who has a paralyzation breath weapon if they want survivors.
Interest in this: ELF THINGS. Adalia has a keen interest in anything deemed "lost" by the rest of the world, and being a half-elf she'd be particularly interested in this. Before they've realized it's elfy stuff, though, she's technically forces, and she's itching to get on a battlefield again.
Anything else: Charis doesn't have to come, but if his breath would be useful he can.

Interest in this: Gala needs to Get Into The Scouting Action and get a feel for what kind of work she can contribute to, but also she's an Orlesian city elf, so the Briala stuff will be relevant/of interest to her when it comes up.

Skills: 5/6ths of a knight-enchanter, creation magic, glyphs, bees. Also has a memory like you wouldn't believe.
Interest in this: tbh it is likely not the best fit for Myr but HE'D BE REALLY ENTHUSED ABOUT THE ELUVIAN.

Interest in this: Inessa's a city elf by origin and has already been exposed to/is interested in the eluvians.

Skills: Magic and sneaking, he is also a shapeshifter and knowledgeable about odd magic. At the moment, his main value would be that he is largely expendable.
Interest in this: Loki would go on basically any mission if it appeased the Inquisition leaders and he would be so very interested in the eluvians and the crossroads. It would absolutely consume his full attention.
Anything else: He 100% doesn't care about elves, but he will pretend to. For science.

Skills: Mage and warrior, more specialized for melee combat now than magic. She is very good at sneaking and passing unseen.
Interest in this: Strange goings on are going to be her calling card from now on, she expects every rumor to contain Nenya. Even though this one doesn't, she will be amazed to see an Eluvian and she will absolutely be ready to assist the elves and run through the crossroads.
Anything else: She may be at like 80% gollum and will perhaps talk to herself in frustration at times. But every mission needs a gollum, right?

Skills: Champion, Knight Enchanter & Code of Honour specs (so basically: high damage elemental melee fighter), knightly skills, all about protecting the team (even if she doesn't like them) because duty honour etc. She is not particularly good at sneaking, but she is good at dramatic fight aesthetic.
Interest in this: Herian is very invested in city elf things, grew up in an alienage and spent a couple years running around Orlais trying to protect elves from human shittyness.
Anything else: I know she has not the greatest (hahahaha) rapport with the Dalish generally or Beleth, so if that is an automatic disqualification I totally understand!

Skills: Thief, con artist, melee trained blades and the BEST at sneaking. Well one of.
Interest in this: Elven politics and the need to get out of the city for a bit. Besides protecting Beleth.
Anything else: Insert awesome quipping powers and the ability to sneak to Briala?

Skills: She is picking up the basics of combat magic due to her tutelage under Nell, possesses a lot of basic common sense with regards to how things fit together; she's good at sorting out puzzles and making connections between things.
Interest in this: Fern is very eager to test her newly acquired skills, as well as to remind herself of why she left her farm in Ansburg in the first place. If she won't be a Grey Warden, then she'll make her mark in other ways. Besides, she is a 'country' elf, and things that matter to all elves are near and dear to her heart.
Anything else: she could theoretically bring her mule Rooster along, but if he might end up in trouble then it's best he stay behind.

Skills: He has some scouting/hunting ability, he tends to think diplomatically for politics, has some experience with negotiation
Interest in this: He is always interested in helping Beleth out. No matter what she might think of his sex life, he still respects her and cares about her. If he found out she was going to head a mission he'd want to help out, as long as she thought his talents would aid. He's also interested in helping out city elves where he can and would be interested in the Crossroads once he knows more about it.
Anything else: I also want more Beleth in my life, but that's just a given XD

Skills: Ranger, shard-in-hand, grew up in the middle of woods full of freaky ruins.
Interest in this: She'd want to make sure the village itself was alright, she'd be in it for that before she would be anything elf-specific. Someone should look out for peasants!! OOC, it just looks neat.
Anything else: Melys is (1) not an elf, (2) kind of an asshole about the Dalish, so if it doesn't make sense/there are a bunch of signups for characters with stronger ties to the plot meat, no worries dude. ❤

Skills: Expert in the Fade, in the Veil, in elven artefacts and elven history. Also a very talented mage and Dreamer.
Interest in this: Solas will admit to an interest in elven artefacts and politics and admit a keen interest in the use of them in modern Thedas. What he won't admit is that is interest is from learning about the nature of the eluvian for his own gain and a means to use them for himself in the future, should it be possible, since his own agents have failed in the past.
