Anything We Should Know: I run a super active fantroll game on Discord, so I'm literally always on there. So if you need me, easiest way to get a hold of me - I also respond to PMs on here, but it'll be a little slower!

I also talk way 2 much, as possibly is seen by this post, and my test-drive post. I'll try not to chatter off anyone's ears, haha.💖

CHARACTER
Name: Lhezan Gavore
Info Page/App: App, info page.

Who They Are:
A surface dwarf merchant lord from Antiva. He got abducted by a pirate ship as a teenager, and had turned it into the head of a mercenary slash transport company by the time he was twenty three. He's incredibly awkward, and kind of undersocialised, but very friendly, if you can get past the terrible opinions. But some of them are pretty terrible opinions. (But he's just saying: maybe, maybe, maybe they should keep the terrifying mages locked up? Just, uh, a thought..!)

Where They've Been: In Antiva, mostly! Lhezan grew up among the Antivan merchant nobility, as the son of one of the top exporters of Orzammar weapons, being groomed up as a courtier and shown off to make connections from a young age. Then he spent ages 16 - 23 primarily on a large ship in the Felicisima Armada, bouncing between places like Llomerryn, Estwatch, Antiva and other nations, and he has been aggressively reintegrating himself into Antivan society ever since.

What They Want: To redeem himself  help save the world from the Rifts, and hopefully make some money in the process. Less blatantly, even to himself: he wants to make the sort of connections that he's been lacking, and is likely to latch onto most friendly characters as a result.

Plot & CR Desires:
I like everyman characters! And I juggle running a lot of major plots in my other game, so here, I'm mostly looking for smaller-scale stuff? Lhezan's made for interpersonal interactions, mostly - he's not a very combat savvy character, and he's more a diplomat than he is, say, into espionage, so I'm curious to see how he can affect other characters and help further plots without necessarily being a focus.

Specific CR desires: instances where he can interact with characters who are arguably similar, but have large enough differences to make discussions interesting, I think! He's merchant nobility, but he isn't human nobility. He's a dwarf, but he's not a Carta dwarf, or a rifter. He's not human, and while he'll be interested in seeking out connections to the elf cast as a result of that, he doesn't actually know anything about their cultures, and his view of them is an explicitly human one. I don't have a preference for positive or negative CR, tbh, I'm just curious where he'll go, and if he can push others in any interesting directions along the way!

Welcome to the game! I'm Isana and I can't wait to see your pirate/merchant dwarf in action. The only character I have that he might have met/heard of is Korrin Ataash, my qunari mercenary mage who definitely worked up north with her company. She is very, very pro-mage freedom, though, so that will be interesting.

welcome welcome welcome!! I'm Liz, and I play Loghain, Fern (precocious little apostate elf), and Romola, who is my Orlesian surface dwarf who grew up within the Serault Glassworks. I feel like she and Lhezan might have some interesting CR since they've both got very different world views and experiences than your average Kirkwall dwarf... but those experiences are very, very different.

she's a side character so I won't really play her in the Gallows, but if Lhezan might go wandering through Lowtown, he'd likely see her shop there!

hi friend!!! it's good to meet you, and Lhezan looks awesome! i am very much looking forward to playing with him.

i'm Lark and my only dude is Myr here. he is a nerd & also exceeding friendly with just about everyone, and figures it's his duty as an Andrastian to be kind to them. SO THEY MAY GET ALONG INTERESTINGLY. 8D

Hi and welcome! I'm Anna, and I have an elven diplomat right here who will be very interested to meet him (if not thrilled about his views on mages.)

I also have a human templar, Simon, who will be much cooler with his views about mages, and will be fascinated to hear tales of pirate adventures, because those are his favorite.

And then there's my rifter goblin, Janzik, who looks like a dwarf at the moment but will be very quick to let everyone know that this is not actually the case. He will also be intrigued by Lhezan's business sense and backstory, and if he manages not to be wildly offensive about the dwarf stuff, I think they could get along! So many possibilities, I'm very excited to thread with you. :D
