Who They Are: A native AU of Quicksilver from Marvel comics, Pietro is an opinionated jerk whose opinions are currently of the extremist rebel mage persuasion. Officially, he has joined the Inquisition for protection after a messy falling-out with his merry band of rebel mages, the Brotherhood; in reality, he has not left the Brotherhood, he was just sent to spy on the Inquisition, but how much his conscience will intervene in said spying remains to be seen.
Where They've Been: Most recently living rough and causing havoc in Orlais and possibly Ferelden. Previously in Ghislain Circle since 9:33ish, grew up in an Antivan alienage before that.
What They Want: For everyone to fuck off about regulating mages, mostly. Maybe think about treating elves better, too. If he could accomplish these things without having to do anything else he feels morally conflicted about, that would be super. (And super unrealistic.)
Plot & CR Desires: Mage things, elf things, learning to relate to people who are neither of these things!! People the Brotherhood could have royally fucked over in the past few years. People who disagree with Pietro in big or small ways who could help carve some nuance into his otherwise black-and-white worldview. Or people who don't disagree and might like to help him make some terrible decisions in the name of mage or elf Freedom someday. js. c:

Hey, welcome to the game! I'm Isana and I have two mage gals for interaction with Pietro. Korrin here is an apostate mercenary who definitely doesn't want anything resembling Circles, though she strongly disapproves of things like the Kirkwall chantry blowing up. (Civilians getting harmed = bad.) Inessa Serra is my elven Grey Warden from Kinloch Hold. She's Aequitarian-leaning (didn't make it to full Enchanter before the rebellion), and definitely thrived in the Circle though can also see its considerable faults. Either way, it should be interesting.

Thank you, it's nice to meet you! Both those options sound great tbh, Pietro is awkwardly on the fence about things like civilians getting harmed in otherwise important acts of rebellion, and he's so far Resolutionist-leaning that it sounds like any combo would provide plenty to talk about. I want to get Pietro involved in this strike business too so that could be a nice hook perhaps!

Yessss please! Timeline wise it looks like they've got lots of overlap, Pietro and his sister would've been apprentices for the last half of Isaac's time in Ghislain. Pietro was a p. angry teen but in a yappy dog kind of way, he could have been a shitheel about Isaac's attempts to get along with Templars etc., perhaps? And/or if you'd like a basis for more positive CR I'm sure we could come up with something, IDK, tell me your thoughts!!

RE ghislain - given pietro's FEELS about mages and freedom he definitely would not have a been a fan of isaac. like, getting along with templars in this context includes ratting out other mages and conveniently ignoring abuse when it happened. so. COOL. cool cool cool.

but he does think baby mages are Important and wouldn't have like, turned it pietro's way or been actively antagonistic in return. just not exactly swayed by yappy angry teen.

Yas that sounds perfect. Pietro would not have appreciated Isaac ratting out other mages for sure. His #1 priority is protecting his sister though, so as long as Isaac wasn't throwing either of them under the bus Pietro wouldn't have been personally affronted or anything, just yappy and ineffectually dickish whenever he had the opportunity.

And now he might have to consider not being a dick. I guess. Which seems like an ideal place to start. :>

Heyooooo this is MJ and I play several dudes but the most relevant is this one, Kostos, who (1) was at Ghislain the same time he was (and also Isaac) and (2) is/was/is??? part of a different extremist rebel cell that also did some awful things and also refused to join the Inquisition when Fiona allied with them.

So they probably know each other.

But maybe growing out of that in a few years and having some falling out over Kostos's Loyalist leanings vs. Pietro's increasing extremism??

And then the mage rebellion happened and Pietro went over here with his weird cult leader father, but probably they still fought alongside each other at various points. Or something.

I'm Liz, and I play: 1) Fern, an elven apostate who is trying her best, 2) Loghain, and 3) Romola, an Orlesian surface dwarf who used to be a lampworker in the Seraultine Glassworks but who now mostly is just waiting for the revolution to come so she can eat the rich. Also may or may not be a disciple of Masked Andraste, it's hard to tell.

Thanks, it's nice to meet you!! Gosh Fern is precious, she probably deserves better than meeting Pietro ever but he'd be curious about the apostate thing. I'm only a little familiar with Loghain because I've only played DAI and need to read up on Romola's info page too but I'm definitely open to just kind of winging it and seeing what works! I'm hoping to get an open post up this weekend, so: soon.
