Upcoming Assignments

I've got a couple of assignments coming up that I'd like to recruit folks to get involved in! One is for Kain, and very Warden-centric, and in the one with Fenris, characters get to bust a couple of slaves free (getting information from that one is just a cool bonus to him, tbh). Just reply in the comments with which one you're interested in, and we'll go from there. 

Assignment: Test Cleansing Ruins on the Blight
Characters: Kain and 1-2 other Wardens
When: Mid/Late April/Cloudreach
Where: Western Approach (the dark, Blighted area near the Abyssmal Rift)
What: "With new developments happening concerning red lyrium infected darkspawn, Knight-Enchanter Delacroix would like several Wardens to take weapons with cleansing runes and see how the Blight reacts to it." If you sign up, I'll give you some further information for what they'll find out! Since there's a lot going on, I'm totally fine handwaving the main work, and maybe playing out an aftermathy discussion, whether that's via crystal, or maybe a thread at camp/traveling back. We can work out the details once I know who's in.


Assignment: A Favor for a Favor
Characters: Fenris and up to two others
When: Early May/Bloomingtide
Where: Everyone's favorite vacation destination, Tevinter.
What: "An elderly slave in Tevinter has managed to get word to the Inquisition that his master is a Venatori. He's willing to trade information—specifically the identities of people from outside Tevinter who have been in contact or lent support to the Venatori—in exchange for the Inquisition's help getting his young adult grandchildren out of Tevinter beforehand. A team will be sent to extract the granchildren, whether by legally purchasing them or stealing them from their current owners, and to take proof of their safety to the contact to exchange for his info." More information here! Fenris will be very strongly in favor of smuggling them out of there, so that's something to keep in mind. Sneakier people would be very helpful, but anyone who makes sense is welcome!

I'll throw Inessa into the Test Cleansing Runes assignment! I have no sneaky people for the latter one, but am debating throwing Korrin into it anyway.

Yes, perfect!! It looks like it'll be Bethany and Inessa for the runes! I'll pull you guys into a plurk so we can chat about the details and then I'll get something up for us after that.

We already talked about Korrin… I'd definitely be glad to have her on the next thing I get Fenris involved in, of course, especially if it's an anti-slavery thing.

Cyril would absolutely want to help freeing slaves. He isn't assassin-sneaky but he does have some basic stealth skills. He gets along well enough with Fenris (I think? You can confirm or deny :P) and he take the goal of freeing people very seriously. If there are other folks who make more sense I'm totally cool with him getting left behind, but he's here if you want him.

Ohhh, yes! Cyril seems like he'd be a great fit for this, and yes, they definitely did get along well. Plus, anyone who has interest in freeing slaves gets some positive approval points from Fenris.

I'll put up a plotting plurk sometime toward the beginning of May, and then the post itself sometime earlyish in the month! Haha, it's going to be a trio of elves.

Awesome! That fills up the runes group, so Bethany and Inessa will come along. I'll get a plotting plurk going, so we can work out some of the details. Then, I'll post up the actual thread stuff sometime after that.

I'm debating, because either of those could be pretty interesting… maybe Adasse, since he's got more of the sneaky skills? Since Fenris will want to try and whisk the slaves away somehow, they'll definitely need the help with that. I'll be putting up a plurk to plot about that closer to the start of the new month, and then the post sometime earlyish in the month. (Also this makes it a total ELF TRIP with Cyril also along, I'm amused by this).

Pietro would definitely be down to help free slaves, if you still need anyone! He's a mage but the sneaky sort, and a city elf if that's helpful for being inconspicuous. He's very new though and I'm super late to this so if you're full up already no worries.

I've already got the spots filled up for this one, but I'd love to keep Pietro in mind for the next one! Or even just make it a point to develop some CR with him in general, too, I'm all for that… an anti-slaver stance always gets some easy respect points out of Fenris, after all.
