PLAYER PLOT: WHO'S A HERETIC NOW?

journey to the temple of falon'din

During her tenure as assistant project leader of Elven Artifacts, Adalia managed to uncover some evidence of an ancient elven temple to Falon'Din, the Creator tasked with ferrying dead elves through the Fade. She's gotten permission to investigate the ruined temple with five other people, with the goal of uncovering any elven artifacts that may be located in such a place.

This plot will entail closing a rift and fighting spirits and undead, as well as a fair bit (hopefully!) of psychological horror and ancient elven intrigue. Adalia will choose five people to come with her, with preference given first to elves, native and rifter alike, and then to anyone else who wants to come along. Adalia is very liberal with her definition of "elf", so if you want your elfblooded character to join in the fun, they'd probably still count in her book. Functionally, if I get more than six sign-ups, I'll RNG the people coming. That said, if your character doesn't have prior CR with Adalia, it'd be a tough sell to get her to consider them — but since this is happening in a few weeks, we have time to establish some!

Interest In The Plot: He's on the Elven Artifacts project mostly as a token Andrastian human who thinks all of this is a bit bullshit, plus he can read spirits' minds and feel their presences and stuff so that's handy sometimes. My guess is you will have plenty of elf interest to bump him out of consideration, but if you lack for elves and think having a grouchy skeptic along would be fun instead of obnoxious, he is here for you.
