Player Plot SIGNUPS: Blue Gold
WHO: Colin + some other people

WHAT: Colin has vanished. In his shared room, there are signs of an obvious struggle--bed overturned, belongings spilled everywhere, the door broken open. A ransom note has been left, demanding an impossible amount of money as "reparations" to be delivered at a blind drop location. It is signed by a representative of the Carta.
This plot will primarily involve investigation and hostage negotiation, so it's time to dust off the old magnifying glass and practice your most dazzling smile--if you can find the Carta hideout where Colin is being kept. It is also possible to resolve this by forcibly rescuing Colin, but that could have undesirable consequences.
NOTE: This will not be an Inquisition effort, just volunteers who happened upon the scene and/or got dragged into it because of CR.

Character Name: Anders
What role do you envision them playing? being the Darktown healer means he has a little pull with groups operating down there, but if negotiations go south he can also fight and heal.

Character Name: Cyril
What role do you envision them playing? He's got a decent dazzling smile. I basically could see him being recruited to help because people would know he's friendly with Colin, and then he could either try to charm or fight their way out.

Character Name: Julius
What role do you envision them playing? Julius has 0 underworld contacts, but has a reasonable track record with negotiation and diplomacy overall. He's also very bad at seeing former students as "no longer his responsibility." He's a decent fighter if things go poorly.
(Availability note: I should be able to boomerang on the weekends, but weeknights I'm probably not going to get more than a tag or two in. If that's a dealbreaker, no hard feelings.)

What role do you envision them playing? It is a Carta mission, and Barnabas is a member of the Carta. Sorta. They're on break. If you need anyone who would contact the Carta, and is on sorta good terms with them, he's your man. He's a bit passive, but if you ask and trick him into thinking he'll get paid, he'll come along.
