Name: The Priest (aka Ebon-Plumed Sorcerer Who Frightens Beasts)
Info Page/App: Info page!
Who They Are: A member of a genetically engineered species called the djur, who are socially something like wasps if wasps could talk and were horrific insect-shark-dragon hybrids the size of buses. A member of the Priest caste (whoda thunk), who are generally responsible for upholding the djur battle-religion, culling the unfit or untruthful or heretical, and helping fight off the eldritch beasts that pose a constant threat to the djur's continued existence. This particular Priest is fanatical above and beyond the djur usual, quite vain, and furiously grieving over having had to kill a beloved friend who turned apostate, the idiot.
Where They've Been: Lately, hanging out in the void with a bunch of predatory, mind-warping elder gods, but prior to that on a dying planet in a dying universe infested with terrifying hell-creatures the size of dragons--and that's the Priest's people.
What They Want: A new homeworld that isn't about to wink out of existence would be real great, especially if all the the other djur who are faithful and not heretics could come along to populate it. In the meantime, finding some point of familiarity in this awful nonsensical chaos of a world would be wonderful. Also, all animals removed from the vicinity of Kirkwall, thank you.
Plot & CR Desires: I am very very interested in the Priest finding out about the Qun and immediately going "that sounds like a fantastic idea" and immediately trying to get it to spread to all of Thedas. Also interested in bouncing this weird, often unpleasant alien off other people.
Anything Else: The Priest has a couple of abilities that people may wish to opt out of; permissions & opt-out can be found here.
