Player Plot: Simple Gifts (Sign Ups)

WHAT: A group of Inquisition members are invited to travel to a remote Abbey on an island off the coast of Ferelden. The island is not wealthy, nor extremely populous; it is a rough, unpleasant place that is cold and at the mercy of the sea. Their correspondence, however, is curiously upbeat and strangely positive. They have decided, almost to a man, to send all the wealth they can to the Inquisition. Their letter, which accompanied the gold, was very appreciative of the Inquisition's good works and had an abnormal amount of praise for Rifters, specifically.

The people of the Abbey are good Andrastian folk who just want to meet the good people of the Inquisition. Unfortunately, the islands around the Abbey are dangerous, littered with bandits and pirates, and the waters that surround the island are a well-known hazard. It is a risky invitation to accept, but also a strangely enthusiastic gesture. Why this Abbey has sent all of their material wealth to the Inquisition is a mystery, but their overture deserves some response, even if it is only a visit.

WHERE: An island off the coast of Ferelden, the Abbey on the White Cliffs.
WHEN: September 4th.
WHO: Galadriel, Thranduil, and up to 10 others.

EXTRA INFO: This plot will be steeped in mysterious cult things, spooky scary nonsense, and (probably) horrible violence. To exacerbate these features I will be adjusting minor details of the plot and how I GM it based on which characters sign up. As such, this sign up form is a bit long.

Sign ups will be active until 8/31, but the sooner you sign up the better and the easier it is on me.

If you have any questions please ask in the thread below!

Character name: Marcoulf de Ricart
Are they a Mage/Templar/Rifter? Nope
Are they Andrastian? Absolutely
Proficiency: Medicine (field medicine aka he can sew)
Additional Skill: Diplomacy (the kind that relies on knowing when to keep his mouth shut or change his opinions for someone else's satisfaction)
Do any of the following bother you, personally, as a player: Nope
Is there something that does bother you, personally, as a player that I should avoid? No, but I'll reach out if something comes to mind.
Are you alright with your character potentially being injured?: Yes/No
What extent of injury are you alright with?: Surprise Me - with the caveat that I'd prefer he still be able to do his sword stuff after, so ideally avoiding major loss of limb/loss of sight.
Is your character physically or morally corrupted: No
Can your character swim?: Sort of
Anything else: Marcoulf is a short-sighted romantic in pragmatist's clothing. He believes very sincerely in social hierarchy norms and is genuinely very supportive of Thedas flavored class warfare despite being on the losing side of it. Bad at questioning the status quo and affable enough about killing people it says would be better off dead. Creeped out by spirits and the concept of ghosts as any sensible persom in Thedas should be, obviously.
