ANOTHER MISSION: ARO NEEDS YOUR HELP AGAIN
That's right, Aro has yet another mission he needs your help with! I promise this is the last one. (For this month.) (Probably.) I bring to you:
Everybody Wants to Duel the World!
What: Two hot headed nobles got into a battle of wits that they could not contain, and eventually set for swords at dawn. Their mothers, and personal friends to high ranking Chantry members (amongst them Sisters Annakathrin and Laurentia of Val Royeaux, as well as Brother Neddiewyn of Hercinia, who is uncle to one of the boys) are absolutely beside themselves with worry. Unfortunately neither of the young lords can be deterred from their path, despite the efforts of family and esteemed Chantryfolk to persuade them to step down honourably.
So something a little more subtle needs to be done. Keep both these boys busy so they miss their dawn appointment. Get them drunk, throw pretty boys and girls at them, hijack them for as long as possible and distracted so they can't present to the dueling field on time.
It’s not that the Inquisition has a questionable reputation… but perhaps the boys can be distracted by the excitement that Inquisition members tend to incite. If they can be distracted and protected, Neddiewyn, Annakthrin and Laurentia (who have all spoken poorly of the Inquisition in the past to varying degrees) have promised to offer their services to the Inquisition.
When: Given the modplot going on at the momentand the fact that Aro has another mission directly after that, I'd be aiming for this to ICly happen at the end of August. OOCly, the report will be due by the end of September so we'll be able to tag it throughout and avoid any scheduling issues.
Who: This mission is one of several aimed at improving Rifter relations with the Chantry. I'm therefore particularly keen to include other Rifters, though native characters are more than welcome to come as well if this is a cause they'd be interested in. Given that the aim is to stop the duel from happening, this won't be focused on fighting - skills in diplomacy and non-violent means of distraction are preferred.
I would like at least 3 other players so that we can have a pair to deal with each boy - but more than that is fine by me! Please sign up below:
