Smells Like Team Spirit | Sign Up
Who: Anyone who wants to do some good old fashioned hard labor, and anyone who wants to be on the raddest team this side of the Waking Sea
What: Clearing the field on the Wounded Coast allotted for the obstacle course's permahome, moving and reassembling the course, interest in future such adventures! (there is a bitty little stipend involved, you're welcome)
When: Like the next two months. And then f o r e v e r.
-
Nahariel, the newly appointed Master of Works, is looking for volunteers. Well, not volunteers, there's a little coin involved, but really not enough to make the kind of effort you'll be putting into this worthwhile. She hopes you have Inquisition Team Spirit™!
Firstly, there's the matter of clearing a field full of stumps (possibly in the rain), and then moving a ton of heavy stuff, and then putting it back together again, and then testing it, and then maybe running it.
Secondly, if you like building/fixing/futzing/testing (useful things)/testing (outlandish things) how about being called upon on the regular? It's time for a legitimate roster for Team Tinker, from which Nari will be pulling in the event siege equipment needs manning. Get your building destruction and heavy thing flinging here! Become a well-oiled machine! Set things on fire! She'll stand you a round!
Help With This Massive Structure! [Five Spots~!]
Swear Allegiance to Team Tinker! (no it's fine you can leave at any time) [Unlimited Spots~!]

Experience with heavy labor?: He can lift things with his mind if need be. Also he looks good without a shirt on. That's his experience. Oh and Jedi Training I guess, but not as important ;)
Play well with others?: /gross laughter
Can you drive a team of horses? If this is asking if he can boss people around you bet your butt he can.

Experience with heavy labor?: all the experience her entire life is experience with heavy labor.
Play well with others?: she does well for herself!
Can you drive a team of horses? Probably? she's figured stuff like that out i assume

Area(s) of interest: building! testing! fine-tuning! designing! innovating! minimal middle-of-the-night wake ups permitted, if it's to geek out.
Area(s) of expertise: Val's training at the University of Orlais was specially focused in the design of siege engines, both modern and historic. he also studied general architecture. and he is very enthusiastic.
Strength or dexterity?: dexterity
Play well with others?: more or less. he's Orlesian and is a little patronizing about non-humans, he can be kind of a highlander in that he is convinced that his education makes him better and smarter than everyone... but if he gets in with someone who also wants to be a nerd about architecture and construction, that can supersede his prejudices.
Get tapped for Siege Crew?: so down to volunteer enthusiastically
Work Harder or Work Smarter?: SMARTER, always.
Other Notes: again, he's Orlesian, which means he sometimes he still holds his coat out to nearby elves without thinking, and tends toward patronizing at times but in a more bless-your-heart kind of way than anything deeply offensive. he has grown a little since joining the Inquisition so he's def not as bad as he used to be.

can i just sign up for both, i'm signing up for both
Experience with heavy labor?: Little; his strength is average and he's no master builder. However, he works hard and he's very physically fit. He's also experienced at moving cross country and has good survival skills, including constructing temporary camps and that kind of thing. He also helped construct the first obstacle course, though not without error! Basically he'll do his best but he'll likely need some instruction to make sure he doesn't get it wrong.
Play well with others?: Reasonably! Aro can be quite socially awkward, but he's generally peaceful and will try to get along with everyone unless they're rude to him.
Can you drive a team of horses? I mean are we talking about actual horses, because definitely yes, he's good with animals. If this is a metaphor for leading a team, then he's definitely a better collaborator than leader.
Name:Arohaerd
Area(s) of interest: Building, testing, learning more about the theory behind it. Also he's down for any opportunity that gets him out and about and exploring new areas, so also that.
Area(s) of expertise: Amateur, though willing to learn. He's spent his life as an outlander and traveler, setting up camps wherever he goes and generally preferring that to living in a city. His experience has been practical; he's not formally educated and has no experience with building anything like siege weapons. He's certainly willing to learn. Also, he's a sorcerer with an affinity for lightning, and if there's a way to use that power to enhance what they build, he'll be more than willing!
Strength or dexterity?: Dexterity.
Play well with others?: As above!
Get tapped for Siege Crew?: let's wreck walls and troop formations
Work Harder or Work Smarter?: Harder! He'll need to develop his knowledge around the theory.
Other Notes: He's a dnd half-elf, he'll mostly be surprised a full-blooded Elf wants anything to do with him.
