They might not have gotten a chance to hang out as they got holder because Marisol went to the Circle when she was 15 and was there for 10-ish years before the Circles collapsed, but yes. I think Sidony is a couple of years younger than Marisol so she might have been around when she was cute, doing what she was (mostly) told, unaware of how to hit on men Sidony who just wanted to be a mage!!
