[PLOT] grand theft dreadnought (TAKE 2 - YOU DIDNT SEE THAT OK)

Strap on your cutlasses and put on your best fancy belt. It's time to do some high seas adventuring. Come for the relaxing weekend cruise to Brandel's Reach, stay for the recovery of a mysteriously (the hole in the bottom probably has nothing to do with it) abandoned Qunari Dreadnought. This plot is technically an initiative on the old Naval Presence project, and so now technically falls somewhere between player plot and project assignment, but anyone can come along so long as your character is ready for some good old fashioned swashbuckling followed by some less sexy physical labor.

People who know about the Dreadnought: Riftwatch, the Inquisition (and whoever else that might imply), the Qun (presumably).

What Riftwatch is planning to do with the Dreadnought: It will be recovered and, for the time being, hidden away in a slightly-more-secret-than-Kirkwall-harbor location on the Waking Sea coastline in anticipation of either a) trading it back to the Qun for diplomacy points, b) trading it to someone ELSE for diplomacy points, or c) keeping it for research. Or some combination thereof.

Vane and Flint will discuss what's ultimately to be done with it with the Division heads, so if that is you, we can talk about that here, or Abby and I will herd you all into a group chat sometime in the near future. If this ISN'T you, feel free to have your character vent their spleen/voice their opinions/argue for the sake of arguing anyway.

WHO: Primarily going to be a Forces and Scouting-ish set up types, though this is open to anyone. If you're playing a nerd with some particular expertise or interest that we can make some rationale for coming along, then they're welcome to get in on this. If you want to pretend they were just given an order to get on the damn boat and go work, do it.

WHEN:Justinian 7 - 9. The log for this will go live this weekend. Please don't feel like you're 'late' to this if you don't sign-up before the log goes live.

WHAT: We'll post a log that includes a rough outline of the trip out to Brandel's Reach and the recovery of the Dreadnought. Expect an action oriented log that will not be GMed and maybe a dash of 'debating our relationship or lack thereof with the Qun' on the side.

If you're interested in having a character tag along, please sign up in the comments below.
