hello fade rift i'm here to recruit people for some hijinks involving stranded orphans!

WHO'S INVOLVED: Derrica + 5-6 folks interested in playing escort for a bunch of orphans on a journey to Ostwick. Must be reasonably good at keeping another human being alive. Can be actually terrible at relating to children so long as they can theoretically be trusted by Riftwatch with the well-being of a child. Forces and Diplomacy are sponsoring this outing, but people from any Division can sign up.

WHAT'S HAPPENING: Essentially, a pack of orphans was being shuttled through the Free Marches to an orphanage in Ostwick. Due to some scheduling mishaps, the convoy intended to be shuffling these orphans had already left by the time their merchant escort, Wendell, had gotten the youths through the Planasene Forest. Wendell can't detour through Ostwick, so the Reverend Mother Liesl, overseer of the orphanage in Ostwick, has written to Riftwatch requesting their assistance in escorting the orphans through the last leg of their journey.

HOW'S IT HAPPENING: I'll set up a log with two or three main threads. 1 for miserable camping, 1 for road trip and 1 for potentially warding off bandits/bears/big demons/whatever. Everyone can top level or pile into group threads as needed, follow your bliss. This is basically meant to be a fun CR building exercise with the added bonus of baby-sitting orphans that get to be handed off at the end of the journey.

WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING: My only hard and fast timeline is after Nevarra. I'm going to leave this open for sign-ups for the next week-ish, so come on in and lmk if you have a character interested in shuttling orphans along.
