player plot: dont go (prison) breakin' my heart

Hey all! Looking for some people to help stage a prison break.

What: A notable Tevinter Laetan who has been Conveniently Missing for over two years turns out to have been a significant early supporter of a burgeoning enslaved rebellion and may still have significant connections (and sway) with them within the Imperium. The only problem? He's currently being held in a Tevene prison.

How: Riftwatch will be attempting a combo of smooth talking distraction and good old fashioned elbow grease to get access to the island estate-slash-fortress where the prisoner is being held, aided in part by Kitty Jones' tenuous contacts within the enslaved community and Benedict Artemaeus, Riftwatch's personal Altus-at-knifepoint. Expect action and group threads, with opportunities to bookend with personal drama/camping/whatever. If you ever wanted to send your character down into a spooky oubliette type dungeon, now's your chance!

Who: This is a joint effort between scouting and forces, so members of those divisions theoretically get priority. But if you have a character who you think would fit for xyz reason, hit me up and we can figure out how to justify it. Max 4-6 to keep things manageable.

When: Signups are open until the 16th, the log will go up on the 20th.

IC Involvement Preferences/Character Suitability: He's completely useless for both smooth talking and elbow grease, but he is useful for providing wisp scouts who can slip around places people can't go and report back and for providing barriers and so on if things do go south so I'd be happy to have him be a thorn in either team's side as needed.
OOC RP Preferences: I'm easy! Generally a little preference for in medias res when it's a straightforward action thing, conversation and build up if there's a choice or ethical quandary involved, but I don't really care.
Notes: If Team Smooth Talker winds up in need of actual smooth talkers, I'm down to send Bastien instead! He's just not in Scouting/Forces.

Riftwatch's force will ultimately be splitting into three groups: two teams to sabotage catapult towers, and one to prison break our boy.

Prompts are pretty loosey-goosey and open to complication/interpretation/etc, but are designed for single group threads with the intent for flexible turn around. I'll be handling some light NPCing, but feel free to push/pull NPCs as necessary. You're also welcome to thread scenes before/during/after/whatever in addition to these top level if you like. I'm not the boss of you.

IC Involvement Preferences/Character Suitability: Elbow grease. Great at dungeons in general, solid tank, better at doing some quick murder to avoid someone raising the alarm. Can be reluctant party face in a pinch but does his finest work with his giant mace.
OOC RP Preferences: Prefer in medias res/focusing on aftermath/fallout/set up squabbles, but I'm flexible.

Character: Derrica
IC Involvement Preferences/Character Suitability: More elbow grease, less smooth talking. Capable healer, is small enough to get boosted into tight places. Has a couple tricks up her sleeve to immobilize rather than straight up murder.
OOC RP Preferences: See above.

Notes: I can't decide so I'm offering both and the winner can be whichever option is best based on what sign ups happen.
