FORCES MISSION: GOING AGAINST THE GRAIN

WHAT: An agent in Antiva has discovered that Merchant Prince Bonaiuto Cellini is supplying Val Chevin with grain, a commodity which otherwise will be in short supply as the occupation of Northern Orlais has put a strain on the region's grain reserves and the loss of Montfort will make it difficult for Tevinter to control the upcoming harvest.

While Cellini is hardly the only Antivan merchant to engage in trade with Tevinter, this particular shipment isn't strictly legal. In order to get a higher price than he might at home, Cellini is trading under the table to avoid the strict regulations of Antiva's Uffico Dell'Abbondanza - the official body which regulates the Antivan grain market and authorizes all exports of grain originating in or passing through Antiva.

Supplied with shipping manifests from two of Cellini's ships which confirm the cargo in question (if not the exact destination), Riftwatch's forces are to stop the grain from arriving in Val Chevin.

HOW: Riftwatch will sail to intercept Cellini's ships before they can reach their intended destination. They are to be sunk and destroyed without being observed from the shore. However, if conditions prove impossible to do so, capture is preferable to letting either ship slip through to Val Chevin.

Once the team is assembled, I'll be randomizing a few elements of the scenario and then letting y'all go to town.

WHO: 3-6 Riftwatch agents, sign-ups open to all members of the Forces Division. Sign-ups from outside Forces are also permitted, but will be given lower priority in case of RNG. Ideal participants are characters who can Do A Stab.

WHEN: Get your sign-ups in by end of day EST, Thursday, August 6th. Looking to run this in the first half of August.
