project felandaris plot: arrival.

WHAT: For the past several months, Project Felandaris has been attempting to discern the patterns of rifts opening across Thedas. While we know that certain factors contribute to the thinning of the Veil, we are still unsure about why a rift feels compelled to spit out rifters. A group of Riftwatch agents are being tasked to survey the site of a recent rifter arrival (specifically our own backyard, the Wounded Coast) and, based off historical surveys, investigate.

HOW: This will be 90% exploration and CR building based off environmental prompts, rather than a GM'd plot. Is there someone you want to grow closer to as a friend or foe against the backdrop of muddy camping? Then this is the plot for you. Sign ups are therefore not necessary to participate.

There will be one component involving a volunteer for peril which will lead to some discoveries. Signs up are necessary if you want to be considered for getting rescued, or doing some rescuing.

WHO: As this is a general survey kind of situation, just about anyone who wants to do some good old fashioned camping and wilderness exploring is welcome, regardless of division. Nerdy research types are necessary too towards taking notes and collecting samples, beefy types are there to chop any nasty creatures that might pop up, scouts can scout, and diplomats can either bring their best stories to the campfire or persuade roving bandits not to rob them. The world is your oyster.

WHEN: This will take place over several days mid-March, ICly, with the post going up during the first week.
