PLAYER PLOT | the perfect stormrider.
WHAT? There's a Gamordan Stormrider loose on the Thenuvieut estate in the Exalted Plains. Lord Thenuviet has given the contract to an old friend of Jone's, who is too old to be in this line of business anymore and thus threw it in her direction. It's now an official Riftwatch mission thing, to get more support from the nobility, bring back dragon bits for research purposes, and generally just kill a freaking dragon.
Characters can also gain influence with the nobility as adventurers (so you can start your own plots! Or not), and at the end we'll do some dice rolls to see what dragon bits are brought back to the Gallows for either research or resale, and maybe see who impressed the nobles the most with their fightin'.
WHO? 7-8 people, including Jone. Sign ups required. You do not have to be a fighter to be involved; researchers, healers, and whoever you think would be applicable are welcome. That said, please make yourself reachable on Discord, because it's way easier for me to run plots this way.
HOW? This will be a normally formatted RW plot with top levels and free for all tagging. Not a lot of background organization required.
WHEN? Signups end on the 6th; a log will be posted shortly after; a report will be due on the 30th, yes that means we have THE WHOLE MONTH.

CONTRIBUTION: He excels at murder and magic, less so at intel gathering unless you're keen on having him stomp around intimidating the local rabble— which uh might not be the best plan. That said, he could always show off for a few nobles here and there, as he tends to fare better with the upper class.
...Probably because he tends to actually respect them. Gross.
INTEREST: bangs fists on table definitely some monster slaying + rep up with any nobility in need of a strong arm. More than anything else, though, I'm just in for the idea of positive or negative game CR, wherever it leads.
Which, granted, I know equates to me yelling 'everything', but I'm new here, ok. I legitimately want everything, and nothing will disappoint me.

CONTRIBUTION: Talking to the locals to gather intelligence, looking to curry favor for Riftwatch with the local gentry and scouting/strategizing.
And also fighting the dragon tbh.
INTEREST: Mostly CR and noble schmoozing for Riftwatch! Fighting the dragon is a little lower down on my interest list and single threads with lots of people are disorienting 2 me, so i'm def cool with Diana being rear guard or scout rather than active fighter.

INTEREST: CR building via heal support in high stress combat, also full body rooting around in dragon gore to dissect out interesting pieces.
