PLAYER PLOT: SWEET DREAMS ARE MADE OF THIS
So maybe your character has noticed River ghosting around Skyhold for a while now. She's a strange girl with a habit of not wearing shoes, appearing in odd places, making eerily insightful observations and just sort of being generally weird but harmless.
But her mind-reading abilities stem from something a lot more powerful and, frankly, a lot more frightening.
River is a Somniari, better known as a Dreamer. Her powers allow her to enter the Fade at will, and even shape it around her. Notably, she can enter the dreams of others. Given her...whimsical nature, it's every bit as likely she'll wander in by accident as purposely look to come peeking in of her own free will.
So, we need dreamers for her to visit! Got a nightmare your character can't shake, a fond memory, or something else entirely you want her to be witness to? Now's your chance to have all that repressed drama come out to play. Of course, she might not just sit and watch. She's entirely capable of of warping the Fade and changing things around, for better or worse.
And Maker knows what the consequences might be when everyone wakes up. It's not exactly widely known that she's a mage to start with, and Somniari have a rep for being about eleven kinds of dangerous, from being high-risk for possession to being able to kill peoplewith their brains in their sleep.

To keep things manageable, there are going to be five slots open for people to be visited by our resident dreamer. If more than five people express interest, we'll use the good old Random Number Generator to pick, so people who are late to sign-up still get as much of a chance as anyone. Sign-ups will be open until Feb 27th.
Some preliminary questions...
1. Do the dreamers have to be in the same general area of the Fade as her?
People in Skyhold ARE far more likely to encounter her, just for proximity's sake, but if your character isn't and you still want to participate? Let me know and we'll try to work something out.
2. Will she appear as herself just sort of wandering about or will she have a particular appearance?
She will in all likelihood appear as herself, though she may seem a natural part of the proceedings. Dreams are funny that way.
3. Does she have to know the person in question or can she just walk into their dream?
You do not have to have prior CR with River to sign up! New people are every bit as interesting.
4. When is all this happening?
Guardian 29. So pretty darn quick! I wanted this to squeeze in before the Civil War stuff gets started and people's plates get full. This is a bite-sized plot, although what happens could have bigger ramifications as time goes on. Who knows?
