Sashamiri Assignment: Dealing With Dragons

war table banner.

WHAT: The team from Imagine: Dragons stashed the dragon corpse at an encampment on the Wounded Coast. Julius is assigning a team to go get some information now that they have the corpse available (and the first push of the Marches invasion has settled somewhat).

WHY: The original plan was to determine if there are any obvious biological reasons that dragons are usually Blight-resistant, and/or how one might be corrupted with red lyrium. Given the reappearance of Corypheus's dragon, related questions have become slightly more urgent. Research agents are to design and carry out experiments (carefully!), with supervised access to red lyrium samples if desired. Forces agents, if any of them volunteer, have been added to try to look for any exploitable weaknesses for combat -- and, on a practical level, to protect the less-combat ready reasearchers from bandits and other Wounded Coast hazards.

WHO: 2-5 volunteers, with priority going to members of the Research and, secondarily, Forces divisions. Project Sashamiri membership delightful but not required. Diplomats and scouts who want to make a case for coming welcome if there's room.

WHEN: Sign-ups will close at the end of Sunday, 10/31, with log to follow around Tuesday, 11/2. Report due 12/2. ICly, players can decide to backdate it a little or not, as per player preference.

What you focus on in the actual log will be somewhat up to the players selected. If you'd like to run experiments, or do some bonding between experiments, or have a random encounter protecting the corpse from looters, come with ideas and we'll chat once we have a team.
