PLAYER PLOT: SUPPLY AND DEMAND

Hey! I'm looking for a small group (2-3, not including Wysteria) for a little player plot involving going to go do a run of the mill new Rifter pickup that goes terribly wrong.

What this will look like: a log post, probably next weekend after I hopefully escape work whirlind. Action, adventure, DRAMA; facing off with Venatori; getting some poor npc killed (oops)!

If you're interested, sign up in the comments below. Slight preference for one or two characters who can close rifts just for semantics purposes since Wysteria is just there to do Rift science, but otherwise first come first serve.

In the sign-ups, you'll also find an opportunity to nominate a canon castmate character not currently in the game; you can nominate a character even if your own isn't going to be involved and you just want to seed some drama. Spoilers: the npc rifter isn't going to make it, so now's your time to give your character some angst over the shock of a pointless death of someone they knew.

(And if no one nominates a character, I'll make up a rando rifter).

Canon: Sulleciel / Petrana's world
Brief description (like five sentences or less) and/or wiki link: Somewhere in his late forties or early fifties, Lamorre's errant witch-king is an imposing man of 6'4", still leanly muscular, dressed for travel in lightweight armour and not for company with the slight wildness of someone who hasn't had much in some time. He carries a greatsword, jeweled at the hilt, engraved with runic enchantments that would be familiar if not specifically identifiable to someone passingly familiar with Petrana de Cedoux's magic practise (one of them bears some resemblance, not identical, to the sigil on her teapot); he has a weather-worn cloak, and no crown. Having conquered Lamorre as an absolute monarchy, secured his legacy and exacted retribution on those who had wronged him*, he left the capitol on personal business close to a decade into his reign and has neither returned nor communicated his intentions, though "his" decrees and decisions are still passed down from the privy council. Aside from being an adept strategist, he's a frontline tank particularly gifted in manipulating time for short bursts on the battle-field, which is in his own universe already a dangerously unstable practise of magic and could in a scenario where he's drawing on unfamiliar sources of power very easily contribute to everything going tits up.
