Anything We Should Know: You may have played/chatted with me when I was going by Bella. I’d really appreciate efforts to use “Bails,” but don’t stress if you slip up.
I fell off the face of RP/the internet due to getting slammed by Life Responsibilities, so I’m learning how to RP again and trying to ignore the looming guilt and anxiety monster of “haha no yeah sorry about disappearing for actual years.”

Who They Are: A Tranquil, recently “ordered” to Riftwatch. Her name may be familiar as a former Ambassador for the Inquisition and Rift Watch.

(just in case: the Tranquil are mages who have been subject to the Rite of Tranquility, severing them from the Fade, their magic and their emotions. Her icons don’t have the sunburst brand on her forehead but shhh let’s pretend.)

Where They've Been:
Starkhaven and White Spire Circles, and being a rebellion nerd around Orlais, way back when.
More recently: serving the Chantry, advocating for mage, rifter and elf rights, annoying more conservative Chantry folk.
In the past month: encountered a group of violent, renegade Templars. It didn’t go well, and she was subjected to the Rite against her will. They ordered her to Riftwatch as a warning/threat.

What They Want: nothing :| she is aware of her obligation to her dog, and so fulfils that responsibility.

She understands and can reason about things that would have been traumatic for her past self, and those she used to care for. In that sense she knows she would not want to cause distress to Cosima and Gwen, especially, but also that her presence is likely to do that inherently, so maybe she’ll idk attempt to step into a closet whenever she sees them. (Not really, but at least once I’d love a really ineffective attempt at not being perceived.)

Plot & CR Desires: Any. All. Reigniting past cr and exploring new cr would be amazing.

Her focus as a Knight Enchanter was being buff and tough, so if exploring where she can be valuable and useful, and if someone without emotions can still be a capable combatant would be interesting. Maybe mastering some fiddly, complicated tasks that help different teams.

Her brand is very recent and def. still healing and suffering from, you know, being a severe burn that wasn’t properly looked after for a stretch, so medical folk that might have seen to patching her up?

I’m totally down for there being plots and plans to reverse the Rite, but my plan is to keep her tranquil for a fair while, so as not to undermine the significance of the Rite. It’s something that would require time, resources, blood sweat and tears etc etc so very much a sloooow burn.

Dismantling dangerous renegade templars (verging on cult energy) as a gradual plot would be rad, pls let me know if you’d like in.

OH also the rogue templars kept her horse, so maybe one day a John Wick rampage to get her horse back.

Anything Else:
Tranquility has the potential to touch on disturbing themes. I haven’t layered additional trauma on top of the murder of the other mages she was travelling with and the Rite itself, however, she does have other past trauma, and the issues around the lack of personal agency could touch on triggering themes for some. There’ll be no hard feelings if you’d rather opt out of stuff with her or avoid particular topics.

omg hi hello!! I’m Julie and in my back-reading of the game I’ve been a low-key stan of Herian & Magni especially, so I’m so stoked to see her/you back. Doctor Strange here is a rifter and Riftwatch’s Head Healer, is close to both Gwenaëlle & Cosima and has heard about Herian, has Strong Opinions™ about Tranquility, and is interested in Knight-Enchanter-ish magic for training, so tl;dr I would love so much CR. Maybe they could meet when she comes to the infirmary to treat the burn and he’s like 😬?

I’m so happy you like my losers ;u; I’ve been rereading some Magni and Herian’s stuff a bunch lately (much more self-indulgent than your historical efforts) and rediscovering my fondness for them, so if ever you want to have an Emotion about random shit from six years ago, hey. I’m here for it. If you’d like to suss out stuff about Magni and Astrid’s Holds and if they had alliances/rivalries/etc, I’m here for that also.

Stephen and Herian cr would be great. I think Gwen and Cedric’s plan in the TDM was to drop her off with him and then peace out, so that works perfectly. If you’d be down for a thread around the time of her arrival (perhaps with application of time jumps, outrageous) then I’m definitely keen.

I don't know/recall if Loki & Herian ever had any interactions get off the ground while they were both here before, but he's acting as Cosima's assistant-type in the Research dept so IF you were interested in some CR surrounding that lemme know. Otherwise Loki will be both incredibly curious about Herian's current state and more than a little freaked out about The Rite to begin with (but he'll probably manage not to make that Herian's problem).

I don’t think they had direct interactions that would have stuck with either of them as particularly significant (I could be mega wrong) but it’d be very cool to change that. I’m definitely down to have them discuss things (it’s not as though she’d have any objection to it :’|) and it’d be a fun at to explore how she articulates all that and how Loki processes it all. I am hoping to do a network post once I’ve ironed out how some of her past close cr comes to be aware of her being here + Tranquil, so maybe that’s a potential jumping off point? (Unless you’d like to do random logging time with them running into each other, or something?)
