Who They Are: rowena's a 17th century scottish witch who, because magic is wonderful, has lived a long (but less-than-wonderful) life. she pretends she's more complicated than she is, loves power, and recently died and became the queen of hell.
Where They've Been: hell, recently. kansas prior, but she's been all over the world in her long life.
What They Want: honestly, staying alive (again) is her main goal. she'd also love to unshackle her magic again, limits suck, but oocly we know it'll never happen. good long research project for her though!
Plot & CR Desires: she's going to be very curious about how thedosian magic works and be trying to study up on that, but she'd equally be interested in hearing about magic from other worlds! or just other worlds!! i am open to trying and figuring out anything!!
Anything Else: soooo her dream before arriving was of her death so she's spending her first couple of weeks injured and getting healed, and then a few more being a grumpy witch. but it'll kickstart her into motivation for getting involved and poking at the library. or getting a drink!! i'm happy to keep tdm intros or to make new ones, i'll probably put something up soon!!

hello kerry, welcome to the game!! i'm nina, and this is ness, the head archivist in charge of the library! she'll be very happy to help rowena find all the right books to get acclimated to thedas and research magic. she's also a sorcerer with specific charm/enchantment/mind control magic and telepathy, her permissions are here!

i also play native elf talin (dirthsal) and native mage connor (catathymic)! talin is very elf-focused but due to some (thus-far unsubstantiated) logical leaps he's made he kinds of considers rifters maybe-elves?? tbd, more data needed. connor was an arl's son and only heir until he did Really Bad Magic when he was 10 and it ruined his life forever! he thinks rifters are probably demons and hates magic. rowena will probably terrify him!

she would be intrigued (but disbelieving) about talin's theory and rowena would 10000% terrify connor, though half the time she does it intentionally. she will not help herself about the idea of demons tho if she hears that comment

and my second character, astrid runasdotten brennvin, is a cheerful shimbo avvar scout who likes drinking and fighting and is barely-literate; there’s fewer obvious connections there but she’s been brewing some moonshine at the gallows bar and is game for anything, so they’ll prob cross paths at some point!

HELLO KERRY girl when was the last time we were in a game together. been too long! i have gwenaëlle (captain of the gallows guard, owner of the baba yaga’s luxury yacht ass houseboat in the harbour, former socialite turned heavily armed radical), petrana (ipseite, rifter witch, diplomacy division mainstay, chief cryptographer — very relevant to the interests of witches who are into assimilating into their new lives) and athénaïs (Local Violent Solution Seeks Problems, Willing To Create Own).

gwen volunteers in the infirmary regularly so that is an easy in when she rolls up but i am very down for any and all flavours of CR >) let’s do things.

i play...... too many characters, but isaac is a sketchy healer whose magic is themed around the circle of life/death sort of witchily, which seems like potentially fruitful CR. alternately, if she's getting injured falling out of a rift, i also play a templar with an anchor shard who doesn't think magic is always wonderful and he could definitely be there to help slash go 'oh shit' about her powers

i would love to continue it! i plan to put a log up for intro and "first few weeks" things so i can slide a continuation to that in there too. esp now that she definitely gets to keep her tracking spells as part of her magic.
