INTRODUCTIONS
Welcome to Fade Rift!
We're excited to have you and we hope you're excited to be here! Please use this post and the form below for all your OOC intro needs. We've kept the form pretty basic, more like a plurk friending-type thing, because we're going to have a CR Meme once all apps have been processed where you can expound on plans and character info. In the meantime, make friends, influence people (to app), and get to RPing (if you play a native)! Don't forget to go fill out the Taken and Player Contact pages while you're at it!

He's probably horrible allergic to like the half the things in this world, let's be honest.
It saved him from death, so there's that. But, you know, other than that, yeah, it's pretty cheap :/
no subject
Yeah I guess it did do that. I would say spirit healers can do that too, but that would be gameplay mechanics. Derp

Grass, thankfully, is not an allergy. He grew up on a farm! But, you never know. Bees, probably. Probably some fruit one day, that green shard in his palm...
LOL. He came back with SCIENCE though, not this crazy magic thing you people do.
no subject
Was that science or just shoving someone's blood into him? Here that might be considered... BLOOD MAGIC o.o
no subject
PROBABLY.
It was totally science. It's a well-known medical practice :| It makes more sense than DRAINING THE BLOOD FROM HIM. Where's Bones when he needs him?
no subject
How'd he end up here anyways? Go through a blackhole and boop?
no subject
Well according to what I have read/been told Rifters come through when they sleep/dream so... Probably? Who knows what his ship ran into. Which means this is really all Sulu's fault. Or whomever was at the helm.

He will have QUESTIONS when he gets back. But main focus now is not dying from bears or allergies. One thing at a time.

Amusing thought, is Jim going to think elves are Vulcans the first time meeting them?
no subject
Oh yes those too. Because who could forget the dragons?
And no, he won't. He knows where the Vulcans have recolonized for one, and this looks nothing like that planet. And the elves are to expressive and emotional to be Vulcans - most things are really. He'll notice the ears resemble them (and that he's called Spock an elf on multiple occasions), but he won't jump right to Vulcan right away.

This is very true. Good points.

Well, he's been chased by a giant crab monster that nearly ate him. How bad can a dragon really be?
Yeah, he'll just think it's an odd evolution - same thing with dwarves and the Qunari (spelling? I am working on that word). He will be more interested in why he's hearing words like 'elf' and 'dwarf' since those are, to his knowledge, Earth-human words.
no subject
Interesting how words transcend worlds/dimensions/etc. right?
You spelled it right. It's Qunari (which is complicated because then there are Vashoth too).

Why does it breathe fire? Why? WHAT SICK GOD THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?
Indeed it is! Most interesting. He must take notes for later thought.
Haha, good, that's the one word I always worry I spell wrong.

I always have issues with Orlesian names. Or Tevinter

Your Maker is a twisted, twisted deity.
Ah high-fantasy names. The less of either consonants or vowels the better.

And that's why there is wiki

This is essentially Kirk's thought, yes. He will figure it out with SCIENCE.

He'll probably need a lot of it, let's be real.
