Mod Team Additions

Bella, Belle, Bubbles, Cee, Stacy, and Tori have signed on to help us with NPCing, GMing, and other mod writing tasks, which is super amazing of them and super exciting for us! They will be using the account

visus. Please tell them that they're wonderful at every available opportunity. (And a shout-out to KB for continued tireless listmodding.)

Info Page Revisions

We've revised the FAQ and Rules pages. None of the changes are particularly noteworthy—primarily just consolidating information that we've already distributed elsewhere—but you should have a look!

Application Updates

All of the character/app caps from May will remain in place for the next application round in June. This means three characters total per player, including no more than one mage, one rifter, one canon Dragon Age companion or advisor, and two elves. We are only accepting applications for Dalish and Tevinter characters if they are Dragon Age canon characters (no AUs or OCs).

We will not be accepting any additional applications for Grey Warden characters until that plotline progresses further, except for canon companions (meaning Sigrun, Oghren, Loghain, and potentially Carver Hawke). We anticipate being able to accept applications for Wardens again in July.

All of our caps and limits are intended to promote balance in PC perspectives and prevent characteristics that should be uncommon from becoming so prevalent that the social dynamics that make those characters enjoyable to play are lost. We'll continue to revisit them each app round and revise them based on the game's overall demographics.

PLOT/IC UPDATES

Upcoming Plot Developments

We will be moving into the next major modplot segment this month, with a new region available for open RP on May 15 and closed quests taking place in the following weeks. As of that point, we will be diverging significantly from the canon quests and locations, so please don't get too far ahead of yourself in future plotting. We will post more details and sign-ups for initial plot sets on May 7, once our new applicants have been processed and dragged into the fold.

The Rifter Arrival Log will be posted as soon as applications have been fully processed and will be open to any characters who volunteer to go recover the new arrivals.

"Residences"

We've created a spreadsheet for Character Residences, now linked from the Skyhold page. This is to help everyone keep track of who is living where and who may be in their vicinity. You can add your own characters to this document, and we'll clean it up as needed.

Miscellaneous

We have a page for IC news and gossip! We highly recommend tracking this page (or only the sub-topics you need to know about) and even more highly recommend posting to it if your character is involved in something that the grapevine would be aware of.
