plot timeline: thorns of the rose
Hay Frands,
It occurs to me that sometimes with forward dating and back dating and everything else that plot timelines can get a bit confusing, so I've just whipped up a timeline to help clarify.
The Build Up: mostly Leliana being a rude jerk.
No, the actual build up comes in months of rumours, and Leliana being outspoken as pro-mage, elf and Rifter.
22nd Justinian - The night of the assassination attempt;
(there is probably overlap between some of these threads timeline-wise.)
AROUND DUSK;
• Exactly one hundred copies of two terrible poems are distributed throughout Skyhold. Sorry about that, Inquisition.
A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER;
• Josephine, Zevran and Dorian find Leliana. One of Leliana's scouts, Convenient NPC Bonheur, arrives shortly after.
• Convenient NPC alerts Cassandra, who joins the others in the Tower.
• Leliana is taken to a room off the library for treatment, attended by Adelaide and Anders.
• Cullen & Maria are alerted - I need to put threads up for this because I am A Mess.
• Dorian is Bothered by the potion, and After A Convenient Amount Of Time To Allow Other Stuff To Happen, realises what potion it is. Cue dramatic run.
• Dorian makes a dramatic entrance, interrupting Adelaide and Anders' treatment. Sass and medical care ensue. Dorian is kicked out to go write letter to Tevinter Bros for Information.
• EVEN LATER THAT EVENING and with Convenient NPC guarding the scene of the crime: Athos, Sherlock, Obi-Wan and Zevran look for clues to work out the who/what/when/why and all that stuff.
23rd - 30th Justinian; Orlais Mission;
Andra, Athos, Maria, Obi-Wan, Samouel and Sherlock travel to Orlais to follow some leads based on poetry and other clues.
• Travel, crashing at a safe-house in Val Royeaux for Leliana's agents.
• Infiltrating a very high brow and very pretentious poetry night. Recitals and masks required by all.
• Travelling to Another Location.
• An Encounter with the Thorns of the Rose! And also Zevran.
• Those responsible captured and brought to Skyhold to be Dealt With.
24th - 27th Justinian; Brecilian Forest Mission;
Alistair, Shale, Zevran, Dorian, Bethany, Bruce, Christine, Eirlys and Sina travel to the Brecilian Forest to look for obscure herbs and flowers.
• Travel, bandits, weird forest.
• Hi it's the Elder Tree enjoy.
• Random herbs secured! Let's go shove them at the Spymaster.
23rd onwards aka. MEANWHILE, BACK IN SKYHOLD;
• Some rumours start circulating! I'd edit in a link once they're settled and posted :]b
• Leliana herself will basically be mostly unconscious from late in her thread with Anders and Adelaide until the 25th, usually with Morrigan looming around.
Thanks to the combined efforts of everyone, Leliana will begin to make a recovery as soon as she is given the first of the potions Dorian learned about. However, it won't be an overnight recover, and she will be on advised bed rest until the 10th, and probably will take a month or two to get back to being back to form.

ORLAIS MISSION.
A question for all of you, though - if you could check out this thread and let me know whether your character would advocate getting information from the Lady Soleil via charm/interrogation/thieving (or a combination) that would be awesome! I figure knowing will help going into that thread.
