Player Plot: My Father's Eyes
WHO: Christine Delacroix + whoever volunteers
HOW MANY: 5-8
OPEN/CLOSED: Open
WHERE: a front in the civil war in Orlais.
WHEN: August 28-31

SHORT VERSION: Christine learns from her mother that her father is stationed at a front in the War of the Lions as a soldier and she hasn't heard from him in some time. Christine wants to go search for him, and thinks she can use the excuse of stopping a red lyrium caravan that's been reported in the area to kill two birds with one stone.
LONG VERSION: When Christine was eight, she was sent to the Circle and her parents were discouraged from trying to stay in touch with her. For years, Christine was content with that, but she's always been curious about what became of them. She finally wrote to her parents and received a response from her mother, alerting Christine to the fact that her father was drafted into the civil war in Orlais. But her mother hasn't heard from him in a long time and fears he's dead. Christine wants to go get answers, but can't use Inquisition resources to find out the fate of one man. Luckily Red Templars have been spotted in the area around her father's last known location, so she'll ask for volunteers to help her stop a shipment of red lyrium.
The front lies between them and their goal of Red Templars, so Christine will have them make a stop in the trenches to find her father. The soldiers will reveal that Red Templar activity has caused a temporary cease fire as both sides have had skirmishes with these strange, twisted people, and if the Inquisition could help remove this threat, both sidescan get back to killing each other would be grateful. There will be some infuriating disorganization as to where her father is along the front, but Christine and company will be assured he'll be located while the group is out killing Red Templars. After some fighting, they'll return to learn her father's fate (which even I don't know. I'll roll a die to see if he's alive or dead). Then it's back to Skyhold with the red lyrium (and possibly a captured Red Templar? Who knows?) and Christine may or may not be with them. If her father is dead, she'll take off for her hometown to tell her mother.
RESULTS: The goal is to find her father, or at least what happened to him, confiscate the red lyrium for study, kill some Red Templars, and maybe capture an injured one alive to study if the Inquisition advisors are down with that.
