PLAYER PLOT: MIRRORS & MONSTERS

WHO: Merrill, Morrigan, + OPEN
HOW MANY: 12 at most including Merrill and Morrigan, at least 5 per team with Team A including Merrill & Morrigan
OPEN/CLOSED: Open!
WHERE: Kirkwall
WHEN: October/Harvestmere 7-11
SUMMARY:
Merrill, Morrigan, and a small team (Team A) go through Morrigan's eluvian and the Crossroads to exit out Merrill's eluvian. They're expecting to end up in Hawke's manor vecause that's where it was stashed and then to meet up with a team that came via boat (Team B) to transport it back to Skyhold. Instead they end up in an oooold secret tunnel system (technically part of Darktown now) from when Tevinter held Kirkwall and have to fight some Venatori, who have sealed the eluvian with blood magic so they can't go back through it. Sending crystals will barely work because of magic interference in the area due to Kirkwall's extremely thin Veil. Team A has to try to get out with the eluvian while getting past ancient terrifying things and... you know, finding the way out.
Team B shows up in Kirkwall and go to Hawke's manor, find that some traps killed a few Venatori and that no one is there (along with no eluvian) and are like WELP SOMETHING IS WRONG. A Helpful NPC sees their Inquisition uniforms and tells them that there have been lights in the Gallows and weird noises so they figure it's a good place to start (especially as the Gallows are filled with red lyrium). Inside the Gallows, they find more Venatori + Red Templars and, after some digging, find a secret passageway down into the ancient Tevinter passage/Darktown. They figure this is their best lead and take it, also having to get past creepy things and trying not to get lost.
The two teams eventually meet and get the eluvian out (to be unsealed later) and probably all decide that Kirkwall still sucks. Teams will likely stay in the area a bit to resupply/heal and explore a bit, if they'd like, and then they all return to Skyhold.
HOW IT'LL WORK:
There will be several main threads for each team, as well as a reunion thread! We're also pretending travel time isn't a thing.

WHO SHOULD COME?
Open to anyone! Morrigan is more picky about who is coming than Merrill and is likely to put her foot down as far as those coming through the eluvian, but that doesn't mean they can't come via boat! That said, I'm going to try and have this plot focus more on survival horror than hitting enemies in the face - there will be enemies to hit in the face, but you should expect characters to be filled with despair and terrified at the fact that no one knows where they are, they don't know where their friends are, they don't have enough supplies, there's red lyrium everywhere, there are creepy crawly things in the dark and it's ALL dark, they're in Kirkwall, etc.
