PLOTTING POST: FALSE GODS, PT II

PART II of the Dark AU plot is up now. If you wanted your character to go out in a blaze of glory, this is your chance--unless your character is a member of the time traveling team, in which case going out in a blaze of glory will also be permadeath, sorry.

The post includes a top-level comment that is OPEN and will be GMed. There is no tag order for this and it will keep going with whoever does participate, so feel free to have your character join the group late after catching up from behind, leave early to fight elsewhere, etc., as needed.

Those of you with assignments: you're great, keep doing what you're doing. If you haven't ICly communicated information to a member of the time traveler team yet, just make sure it's done in backdate land sometime before their return.

If you have any questions, you can ask here. You're also welcome to use this post to plot your glorious ends (or lack of ends, that's fine too, not everyone has to die) if you want to do so.

BRUCE'S LAST STAND

Bruce is pretty much just gonna turn into the Hulk and rampage until he's out and then most likely die because yeah.

Also he may actually attempt to wrestle with the dragon if it appears in the log, so if people want to be part of that let's make it happen!! Hopefully it happens.

ALAN might die, why not! death for everyone. maybe he'll help out with an avalanche or make come-hither eyes at the dragon or something and be incinerated.

but i have no plans, so if there’s anything you wanna do or if your character needs help dying gloriously or accomplishing something before they go or whatever lmk.

WREN is on TTT. if you want her for anything (said glorious deaths, glorious dying words, glorious hairstyles that need to be recorded for posterity, etc) during the battle or before then just hmu and i'll make it work.

gwenaëlle will be evacuating ortan thaig! otherwise i do not have solid plans + would be happy to toss her into anything anybody's keen to do.

margaux is probably miss not appearing in this plot bc she wasn't in the game for the first half, but i'm open to doing some stealth murder in jader if anyone's keen / wants to furiously assume some future cr.

Hermione Granger and the Return to Hogw-... Skyhold

Anybody want to get seriously hurt or worse while protecting Hermione and thus emotionally ruin her for when she gets back to the right time? Because yeah, short of her being among the first to jump at the chance to get back to Haven and undo all of this, I've got nothing solid planned for her and am open to all the things. This includes if anyone on any team assignments still needs to tell a rifter something, or if anyone not on any team assignments just wants to try and send a message back for their past selves or someone else.

Is on the TTT, so anyone want him anywhere for anything. He can attempt and fail at healing, fight some nasties next to you, argue about how he's not going to pass along word to the past, etc.

I'm all for Korrin getting seriously injured trying to protect Hermione! I can't decide if I want her to give up her life doing it or have it just be vague as to whether she survived, but definitely focusing on the serious end of the injury scale.

Not an official assignment, but I'm still interested in Wren passing on those blood-stained letters for Inessa.

she definitely will be! i've got a letter to kain ready to go for when they're back and i'm hype for it. it occurs to me to ask though, is that something you'd like to be involved with as well, or would you prefer to have it go down separately?

Nah, Inessa doesn't need to be there for it. It's more for Kain's benefit.

Did you have anything in mind in terms of specific injury or situation or whatnot? Because all I can see is Korrin getting seriously wounded and still trying to fight while Hermione tries to convince her to stop her shenanigans and sit her ass out of the fight.

Want to have Jamie give her the carved wooden Jacobite rose and then have get separated at the very least? Or even possibly worse, because Jamie would absolutely want to make sure Hermione gets out so he'd do whatever he needed to to make that happen.

That's fine! Just let us know if you plan to bring anything with plot value so we can decide whether or not it might need to get lost to prevent game breakage. Personal items are fine and won't poof.

Always. And this Doctor might surprise Jamie, since he's held a sword in battle, fires Dalek guns now... etc etc.

And bad end or not, the Doctor will be sad to leave him behind, no matter how much he knows he has to.

If I want to be really awful and make her and Araceli match, she could even lose a hand/arm and be in danger of bleeding out if she keeps fighting. Fun times.

Nothing short of the Doctor dragging her away or Jamie himself pushing her back through to her own time can drag her away from him if he gets that hurt, especially on her account, so that could open up the way for all sorts of dramatics.

Well, she's met abominations before. And she's super stubborn about the whole "but they can be SAVED" thing. So it depends on just what she sees when he transforms. It will either make or break their CR. Adventure!

Hermione can try to force her out of the fight and do her best to stop the bleeding before being forced away, leaving Korrin's ultimate fate a mystery (at least to her). Though the idea of a tiny little thing like Hermione trying to drag a giant qunari anywhere in the middle of a battle is, admittedly, hilarious.

If Brooklyn is still offing Sabine then that pls, if not I would like an opportunity to see Gwen be a badass. Or if I'm remembering correctly that you don't care for fight scenes much (I don't either) then immediate post badass scene when there's a moment of quiet to wipe off gore and remark on how terrible everything is.
