PLOTTING POST: FALSE GODS, PT II

PART II of the Dark AU plot is up now. If you wanted your character to go out in a blaze of glory, this is your chance--unless your character is a member of the time traveling team, in which case going out in a blaze of glory will also be permadeath, sorry.

The post includes a top-level comment that is OPEN and will be GMed. There is no tag order for this and it will keep going with whoever does participate, so feel free to have your character join the group late after catching up from behind, leave early to fight elsewhere, etc., as needed.

Those of you with assignments: you're great, keep doing what you're doing. If you haven't ICly communicated information to a member of the time traveler team yet, just make sure it's done in backdate land sometime before their return.

If you have any questions, you can ask here. You're also welcome to use this post to plot your glorious ends (or lack of ends, that's fine too, not everyone has to die) if you want to do so.

If a member of the TTT is given a item, like say a small carving, will that make it back with them or will it just go poof?

That's fine! Just let us know if you plan to bring anything with plot value so we can decide whether or not it might need to get lost to prevent game breakage. Personal items are fine and won't poof.

So what about injuries TTT acquire during the escape? Do those go back in time as well? Say an item is embedded into their body?

They'll return with their injuries, clothing, and belongings from the future, even if those belongings have been used to impale them. They'll also technically be a month older, for those who are counting.

BRUCE'S LAST STAND

Bruce is pretty much just gonna turn into the Hulk and rampage until he's out and then most likely die because yeah.

Also he may actually attempt to wrestle with the dragon if it appears in the log, so if people want to be part of that let's make it happen!! Hopefully it happens.

ALAN might die, why not! death for everyone. maybe he'll help out with an avalanche or make come-hither eyes at the dragon or something and be incinerated.

but i have no plans, so if there’s anything you wanna do or if your character needs help dying gloriously or accomplishing something before they go or whatever lmk.

WREN is on TTT. if you want her for anything (said glorious deaths, glorious dying words, glorious hairstyles that need to be recorded for posterity, etc) during the battle or before then just hmu and i'll make it work.

she definitely will be! i've got a letter to kain ready to go for when they're back and i'm hype for it. it occurs to me to ask though, is that something you'd like to be involved with as well, or would you prefer to have it go down separately?

gwenaëlle will be evacuating ortan thaig! otherwise i do not have solid plans + would be happy to toss her into anything anybody's keen to do.

margaux is probably miss not appearing in this plot bc she wasn't in the game for the first half, but i'm open to doing some stealth murder in jader if anyone's keen / wants to furiously assume some future cr.

If Brooklyn is still offing Sabine then that pls, if not I would like an opportunity to see Gwen be a badass. Or if I'm remembering correctly that you don't care for fight scenes much (I don't either) then immediate post badass scene when there's a moment of quiet to wipe off gore and remark on how terrible everything is.

Anybody want to get seriously hurt or worse while protecting Hermione and thus emotionally ruin her for when she gets back to the right time? Because yeah, short of her being among the first to jump at the chance to get back to Haven and undo all of this, I've got nothing solid planned for her and am open to all the things. This includes if anyone on any team assignments still needs to tell a rifter something, or if anyone not on any team assignments just wants to try and send a message back for their past selves or someone else.

I'm all for Korrin getting seriously injured trying to protect Hermione! I can't decide if I want her to give up her life doing it or have it just be vague as to whether she survived, but definitely focusing on the serious end of the injury scale.

Want to have Jamie give her the carved wooden Jacobite rose and then have get separated at the very least? Or even possibly worse, because Jamie would absolutely want to make sure Hermione gets out so he'd do whatever he needed to to make that happen.

Is on the TTT, so anyone want him anywhere for anything. He can attempt and fail at healing, fight some nasties next to you, argue about how he's not going to pass along word to the past, etc.

Want your old companion to fight by your side for at least a bit? With maybe a bad end but I'm still trying to sort that out, so for now at least fighting?

Yngvi will be leaving Ortan Thaig to meet up with the remains of the Boneflayers to fight to the last. He'll be laying down as many traps as possible so it's pretty easy to have him die so he can go join Asher at last.

Araceli I am also up for killing off. She's got one hand still and she's angry so if you want a pissed off bard with a rapier I will throw her your way.

I don't know either of your characters, but I'm down for all the CR :D Especially since the Doctor will fight, but he's actually not all that keen on it.

Cosima and Romain

Cosima is TTT. Hit me for maximum emotional damage, y'all. (And/or nerdy "this might be crazy enough to work" planning in the lull before all hell breaks loose.) Also, if someone with a plot assignment still needs a person to hand info off too, I'm game.

Romain: There is a nonzero chance Romain is off in Nevarra for plot and may not make it back, but I am happy to backtag stuff before his departure and/or stuff with his grandson. (Thomas de Coucy has three whole icons, so.)

Since we didn't have a chance to do anything earlier, would you like a maybe mid-hell interaction sort of thing - with maybe a bit of Jamie telling Cosima to look after the Doctor before he runs off to go emotionally wreck help Hermione?

A bit late to the party, but Teren is TTT and can be fought alongside as well! Feel free to die and make her feel bad.

She will also probably try to assist other TTTs in getting to the... go-backy point, so we can figure something out there too.

The Doctor is going to get shot with an arrow at some point just before he goes into the rifty type thing. The timing of it is going to be somewhat dependent on tagging order.

Cosima and Hermione will probably help him stagger along, but some TTT protection would be good for the three of them. AU!Jamie will do what he can from his side.
