OOC: gallows alumni
So, as it turns out, there's a few of us here that have characters that lived and/or worked in the Gallows to some degree! I thought it might be a good idea to put my feelers out and figure out who was there and when because I am all about past CR opportunities. Also since past words and/or other fun (read: terrible) actions could affect future interaction between characters since things were not... so great there!!
Or it'll at least give us an idea of who to invite to the probably needed support group because what a basket of sad eggs. ALSO: Smugglers are also welcomed to throw in since they may have definitely interacted with certain groups or characters living there.

— Came to Kirkwall in 9:31 after the Circle in Starkhaven burned down.
— Harrowing likely took place within a year or two of her arrival if any of our Templars would like to have been a part of that.
— Overall, Saoirse was the quiet sort that was easy to ignore or simply just not be noticed among her peers.
— She prayed a lot and had a habit of singing hymns or chants for those that wished to listen. Known to have known the Chant by heart and led prayer among her peers a lot.
— Did her best to always smile despite conditions so it was probably the one thing about her that did stick out.
— To be honest, a lot of time was spent either singing, praying or reading near whichever window offered the best sunlight.
— Became an Enchanter within the last few years, tutoring apprentices and trying to make things a little easier on the kids. Her field of study was Entropy.
— Whenever everything went to hell in a hand basket, she stayed in the city to help other mages escape and those in the alienage. Probably had to fight a bunch of folk, it sucked and was super sad.

* Raised/trained in Starkhaven, but assigned to the Gallows as his first posting in 9:31, at age 18.
* Was initially overenthusiastic, overzealous, and really eager for a chance to prove himself. Volunteered for Harrowings because he could totally chop down an abomination without even hesitating, guys, really, pick him pick him pick him.
* Stopped volunteering after the first year or so, but continued to be frequently assigned to them.
* Was always really squicked-out by the Tranquil and went out of his way to avoid them, and would change the subject whenever they were brought up in conversation.
* Disciplined a couple times for dalliances with female templar peers, but scrupulously avoided fraternizing with mages.
* Became progressively more of an outsider among the templars, and didn't tell anyone he was planning to transfer until two days before he left for Ansburg.
* Left abruptly in 9:34 and was probably forgotten pretty quickly.

-He was around well before the Fifth Blight and stayed through the Champion's Fuckery, so he has pretty much nothing left but horrible memories.
-Extreeeemely devout and probably prayed with Saoirse more than once
-Super quiet, ultra shy and with a decidedly weird vibe, easily pranked by other Templars but fortunately not too often
-Was fully devoted to Meredith to the very end and would have fought against the rebel mages/the Champion
-Known at that time to otherwise be gentle and undemanding even if he was a stickler for rules
I would be fully down with him having been involved in Saoirse's Harrowing! He was always kind of a quiet background figure as well and it wouldn't surprise me if they knew each other by sight, possibly better than others, just because they might have frequented the same areas in an effort to do their thing and stay out of the way.

-Had some contacts among the mages and the Templars to help get the at-risk mages out (I'm totally up for common friends/acquaintances or anyone being a contact who wants it)
-Was sometimes inside the Gallows in the lower levels to help with the extractions so he could have been seen there
-Came in a few times by the front door with Hawke, talked with anyone who wanted to talk while Hawke spoke with Merry or Orsy or both.

Sold lyrium to Templars in and around Kirkwall generally
Smuggled it and contraband into the Gallows
Smuggled letters in and out for mages
Things of that nature, usually saying he was on legitimate business selling goods
All via his branch of the Carta and despite being a dwarf of multiple choice pasts he's talked about this here and there so I'm down for figuring out prior CR.

He would have been in the background observing and at the same time quietly investigating rumors about Meredith. Left when mages were settled in and having concluded that Meredith's hard line was justified given the large number of blood magic incidents.
