WHO: Pel and 3-4 volunteers
OPEN/CLOSED: Open
WHERE: Kirkwall
WHEN: Harvestmere/October 25 (why yes that is in time for Halloween)
WHAT: A fear demon has been Pel's Fade shadow since she was nine--an easy meal, an unwitting friend. But lately there has been a great deal less fear to eat from her, so the demon traps Pel in the Fade as she sleeps in a bid to recondition her. That morning, Pel simply cannot be woken. A small team is needed to enter the Fade and slay the demon to free her.

This will be a horror plot. Characters involved will have extremely immersive and very intense experiences in the Fade with fears of their own, in scenarios tailored to them. Any and all triggering material will be labeled in the comment header, but it will absolutely exist. Since there will be one-on-one threads with an NPC, there will be a lot of OOC conversation about permissions and what you are comfortable with, because this is intended to be an opportunity for you to explore things you would not ordinarily be able to explore, and an opportunity for your character to learn things Pel never talks about (although you do not have to be Pel's close CR to sign up, just someone willing to help out).

Why are they helping? While Julius is new, he'd volunteer do the same for anyone trapped in the Fade. (And he may be interested in showing he's A Helper, while he's at it.)
Anything else? Echoing Lark, I'm not the fastest tagger, so if you get lots of takers no hard feelings in prioritizing people who are more rapid. That said, this plot sounds very cool.

Anything else? Beleth is...pretty good at handling fear demons, bc it's harder to be affected by someone else telling you the horrible things that you tell yourself every day. :^) Not that she is going to shrug everything off, obviously.
