PLOTTING POST: Enfenim
Awright, losers!
Because I couldn't bear to trim my list down to only four participants, I've expanded the plot to include six people instead of four. Participants will be Beleth, Sina, Sorrel, Saoirse, Cyril, and Myr. Honorary members of the plot are Anders, who will be the questgiver who diagnoses Pel's problem, and Alistair, who is Backup Templar monitoring things and making sure everything is okay from the waking world side.
There will be an initial thread of everyone talking about the situation, before everyone touches some lyrium and goes all sleepy-bye.
The Fade part of the plot will consist of two parts:
Part I (which will go up the day the log goes up, the 25th) will be each character individually facing a horror scenario tailored to them specifically, which you and I will plot out either in the comments below or on Discord or Plurk. This will be one-on-one because I really want to make sure I give everyone the attention they deserve, and to keep the log from getting bogged down with a seven-person thread.
Part II (which will go up on the 30th) will find your character paired with another. I have randomized the teams already, as well as the scenario each encounters. By now, your characters will be getting closer to Pel--and the demon. Each team will encounter either an aspect of the demon or Pel herself, in the throes of a nightmare scene intended to recondition Pel. Only one team will actually encounter Pel, but all three will encounter what appears to be Pel. Only through roleplay will it become clear which you have encountered. There may be situations where your character takes on a role in the scene (think Feynriel). The goal is to slay the demon and snap Pel out of it so she can wake up.
Team One (Death): Beleth and Sina will find themselves in the midst of the plague that hit Clan Ashara twenty years ago, killing many. Trigger warnings: illness, death.
Team Two (Helplessness): Sorrel and Saoirse will be out in the woods, where Pel relives a traumatic moment in perpetuity. Trigger warnings: death, suicide, decapitation.
Team Three (Abandonment): Cyril and Myr encounter Pel in utter solitude, sitting in an empty Gallows and...sewing. Trigger warnings: death, dismemberment.
Once again, the first part of the plot (the individual part) will go up on the 25th, and the second part (the pair-ups) will go up on the 30th (it will all be the same log). At the end of it all, there will be a wake-up aftermath section for people to mingle and discuss. Everyone will have seen some shit, so give each other lots of hugs. I'll tentatively set this thread to go up on November 13, but I'll push it back if it doesn't look like we're starting to be ready.
