Who They Are: Sorcerer/fighter multiclass from the Forgotten Realms, half-elf disaster, mother of more dangerous things than any one person should try to adopt, maker of terrible decisions.
Where They've Been: Candlekeep in Faerun, mostly, except for the very exciting past few months she's been adventuring!!!
What They Want: JUSTICE FOR MAGES WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU, a family, to raise her dragon son in peace
Plot & CR Desires: She has a dragon egg that's gonna hatch when she gets in maybe someone wants to help her deal with that? More generally girl wants a family and I want her to have to deal with things in Thedas being Different. She'll never believe abominations are that bad til she sees one and I, for one, can't wait for that moment. Also if anyone wants to learn alchemy she can teach you!

Half-Elven! :3 Maedhros and his brother Maglor adopted two Half-Elven children, so he is a little biased when it comes to those with mixed heritage.

Dragons might be a problem - they are very evil on Arda - but if she shows him they're not a problem, he will come around. He's also a sap for sad animals.

there are good dragons and there are bad dragons, but luckily charis is one of the good ones! he's a silver dragon, which in the forgotten realms is lawful good and p much the most people-oriented of the dragons. he will be a good son, maedhros, promise!!!

You'll know plenty about several of the Fëanorians through Maedhros and Maglor. They...have a long history of violence, sadness and more sadness. The Elves of The Hobbit/The Lord of the Rings are quite lovely and tame compared to the poor Elves in The Silmarillion.

i know... basically the movies of lotr and the book of the hobbit, because my dad was a big tolkien buff when i was a kid. i have forgotten p much everything i might have ever known about either. this will be fun!!! it'll be like going back to my family's fannish roots.

He sort of caused Elrond's mother to leap into the sea (don't worry, she survived!) and then he kidnapped Elrond and Elros because they were little and Maglor wanted to raise them. They eventually gave the twins back to their remaining family, but the connection lives on. Maglor, at least, is alive during Lord of the Rings.

Charis sounds like a charmer. He'll be just fine.

Skadi ISN'T a mage, but she has abilities that could have her mistaken for one, so there's that!

adalia's from a world where innate magic is rare but anyone can learn it with lots of practice, and mages are useful, if kiiind of weird, so this whole "HIDE THEM AWAY IN CIRCLES 'FOR THEIR PROTECTION'" thing is going to be SO TERRIBLE TO HER. just because she was born able to shock people with her mind doesn't mean she's dangerous, shove off and take your circle with you!!!!! but also they don't have abominations where she's from, and dealing with that will be veeery interesting. in short, THIS CR EXCITES ME.
