Who They Are: Elros is Elrond (yes that Elrond)'s twin brother, the one who chose mortality, the first king of Numenor (and thus Aragorn's umpteenthbilliongrand father), and basically something of a royal mutt, being able to claim descent from pretty much every royal house in Middle-earth.
Where They've Been: he's just finished a month-long sea voyage to the island where he's in the process of setting up his new kingdom
What They Want: He likes sailing! Also, he wants to kill a dragon or two. And punch Maglor and Maedhros.

Dany's got some objections to the dragon killing.

Elros wants to know why all the pretty ladies are against the dragon slaying.

Because dragons are magnificent and rare and when one has to burn their husband alive in order to hatch the first three in several hundred years, one is protective of the creatures. Even if these ones aren't her babies.
