Who They Are: Carta dwarf courier who got hit with this shard nonsense while out running a message and has come to Kirkwall to get it out.
IMPORTANT: Minka has a history of being verbally and physically abused. To her, this was seen as normal behavior because that's just life in the Carta. However, if her mentioning any type of abuse would possibly upset you, please say so in my permissions post and I won't bring it up.
Where They've Been: Stationed at different Carta hideouts throughout the Free Marches throughout her life, most notably their Vimmark Mountains base, where she lucked out and was sent to Kirkwall before Hawke and company arrived.
ETA: forgot to say that as a courier, she's been plenty of places in the Marches, Ferelden, Orlais, and Nevarra too.
What They Want: To not be a worthless piece of garbage (good luck, kiddo) and to have this shard taken out of her hand.
Plot & CR Desires: Honestly, if your character manages to not treat her like everyone in the Carta always has, that's good enough for me. She's basically every Tumblr meme about being a disaster, mess, "screaming in her own head" type person so she needs to learn that there are people in the world who will give her a chance and not write her off as literally the worst (besides her sweet ass ability to deliver messages promptly). She won't make it easy, I'm afraid.

Wrong journal, but aside from Korrin having met her, it's possible she could have met Inessa either as a courier to the Circle or encountered when she was a Warden?

Skadi, probably not unless Minka went to Avvar holds ,but I'm happy for them to meet anyway.

I would love that! Let's see, she's been a courier since she was a teen, so lemme math this out... is the current year 9:43 Dragon? So she's 23 and that means born in 9:20 if so, so... around 9:34 or so she'd start delivering messages if Inessa was still in the Circle then. IDK the Circle's relationship w/ the Carta, but she could have been running messages for a middleman, like a legit lyrium seller who got his stuff smuggled to the surface by the Carta?

Yeah, she's never been among the Avvar but she'd be impressed by this tall, confident being (and probably resent her a little for being so likeable; how dare it come easy to you).

Not that Inessa would have had free reign to socialize, I bet, but they could have at least seen each other in passing? And them maybe actually talked after the Circles fell and Inessa was out.
